PREAMBLE:
On Feb. 13, Thursday at 7:30 pm, I’ll give another “talk” for the Fraser Valley Astrology Guild, by Zoom. It costs $ 15 if you aren’t a member. For more information, please check the Guild’s website: www.astrologyguild.com, or email Rebecca Garcia, at rebecca.garcia@shaw.ca.
What I’ll be talking about:
Many major planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune) are changing signs this year. Pluto finally entered Aquarius for a 2-decade residence two months ago (Nov. 24) although it first “approached” this sign in March/23. These changes place these planets in new signs with new meanings, where they will stay from 1 to 20 years. For example, Uranus will be in Gemini for the next 7 years. This will delight Aquarians romantically and Librans mentally and in love, but can make Gemini more nervous, and renders Scorpio’s finances unpredictable. It nudges Taureans to go high tech if they want to improve their incomes. So I’ll talk about all this stuff, looking at the effects of each planet on each of the 12 signs. So this is not your year ahead — if anything, it’s your decade ahead.
With time, I’ll also read some personal charts — if you want to do this, contact Rebecca at rebecca.garcia@shaw.ca.

WEEKLY FORECAST:
ARIES: March 21-April 19
Be ambitious, Aries. Money looks good. Friction at home until mid-April, but you can allay this by diving into a home improvement project. (But start it well before mid-March.) Plan a trip or email/internet project, to launch in Feb. Lots of talk on the career/employment front. Sunday/Monday bring family, home and security matters to the fore — a great time with much success, so dive in. Romance (and creativity, risk, beauty, pleasure) lifts your heart Tuesday to “late dawn” Thursday (PST). A few bumps here, so don’t expect a victory parade. Perhaps even an argument Wed. eve/night. Tackle chores Thursday to late suppertime Sat. — go slowly, carefully, and you’ll get a lot done. Saturday night? Relationships.
TAURUS: April 20-May 20
Start forming, editing, examining plans to make more money, or to make a large purchase, February onward. Your hopes and wishes remain sober, realistic — and affectionate. Romance, a love affair, could spark. Lots of hectic activity travelling, communicating and doing paperwork, now to late April. These communications must be important, and are probably connected to gov’t or “head office.” — And are highlighted Sun./Mon., in a very fortunate way. B home, hug spouse and kids, Tuesday to late dawn Thurs. This interval contains some disruptions, so accent security over boldness. Romance, creative and risk-taking actions, talented kids, beauty and pleasure flow in Thursday to late suppertime Sat. Some good stuff here from the slow and steady approach. Tackle chores Sat. night.
GEMINI: May 21-June 20
It’s your last week of lust, big finances, life changes, critical health concerns, and heightened intuition, Gemini — last and most important week. Expect a lot of communication in these areas. Money flows to you now to late April (from an old source Jan./Feb., a new source March/April) — bank it, pay debts — avoid spending. Bosses favour you. Start planning for a major move or project February onward — could literally be a move, a relocation; could be a marriage; a big opportunity; a religious or publishing effort; a “coming out to the world.” Soon, your good luck will surprise you! Stay cheerful! Sun./Mon. are for making money, buying/selling, casual sex, and rote learning. All’s good — charge ahead. Errands, communications and paperwork fill Tues. to “late dawn” Thurs. Here, obstacles and potholes litter your path, so proceed cautiously. Be home, hug the kids Thursday to Sat. — A mixed period, but you can progress if you avoid “happy risks.”
CANCER: June 21-July 22
It’s your last week of open, “out there” relationships, Cancer. Next week, you enter a month of “underground relations” — with agreements, activities, based on $, finances, security, sex (and everything else that’s not romantic). Now to late April, you exude sexual magnetism; you also will be assertive, courageous and determined (tho’ in Jan./Feb. you might have difficulty determining what/who to chase, or how to use your new intensity). Love is fine, mellow. Intellectuals, lawyers, etc. like you now. Finally, talk starts in earnest with someone you covet. Use January to prepare for a lucky submission to the gov’t or management offices, come Feb.-to-June. Your energy and charisma soar Sun./Mon. — take advantage, see and be seen, ask favours, start significant projects. Careful with $, buying/selling and casual sex Tuesday to “late dawn” Thurs. (PST) — disruptions prevail. Errands, communications and paperwork are slated Thurs. to late supper, Sat. You can succeed, make some favourable impressions, if you proceed with ordinary care.
LEO: July 23-Aug. 22
This is your last week of drudgery, chores and boredom, Leo. These might be important for your financial (or sexual) progress, or might link to a health concern. New instructions or communications come in this area of chores. Investments, finances are favoured now to early February. Now to late April, avoid belligerent individuals and sketchy venues. Start planning as big social event, or the path to a cherished wish coming true — take action on this February to mid-June. Lie low, rest, contemplate and plan Sun./Mon. Seek advice — it will be valuable. Excellent time to contact gov’t or head office for a favour, permission, aid. Your energy and charisma soar Tues./Wed., but you’ll need to slog your way through some obstacles, especially Wed. Chase $, buy/sell, hug a friend with intimate intent, or read to learn, Thursday morning to Sat. suppertime. Carefulness succeeds.
VIRGO: Aug. 23-Sept. 22
This is your last week of romance, of super-charged creativity, risk-taking, beauty and pleasure, Virgo. (And yet it’s the first week that you’re free to talk, to whisper love’s words, and might be the most significant week for love in Jan. Others treat you with affection and grace all month.
Spend January planning and re-planning an ambitious career or other action to start Feb. through June. (It’s lucky!) It might be linked to real estate or home. Your hopes and wishes centre on men and male activities now to late April. If you’re a woman, sex is very available, especially if you meet someone at a social event. All Virgos, now to April, will feel the tug to invest, chase intimacy, or deeply change your life. Okay. This trend is highlighted Sun./Mon. — very fortunately, maybe friends involved. Retreat, lie low, rest, contemplate and plan Tues./Wed. Your luck is low, so keep a low profile. Your energy, pizzazz, clout and effectiveness return Thurs. morn to Sat. eve. You can accomplish much, initiate projects, IF you proceed slowly, thoughtfully. Sat. night? Money determines.
LIBRA: Sept. 23-Oct. 22
This is your last week of being “tied down,” Libra — to home, to relatives’ needs, to food, family and pets. Discussions about these start now, but might be oriented, in your case, toward ending, quitting. Co-workers and your work are pleasant, rewarding emotionally. Now to late April, a partner might try to log to over you, or a boss is impatient, temperamental. Smile, but stand your ground. Spend January preparing, planning, for a major voyage, education, legal matter, wedding, publishing/media project, or similar. Plan to start February onward — t’s lucky! Be ambitious Sun./Mon. — see the boss, present your case — you could create a promotion for yourself. It’s wishful time Tues./Wed., when optimism, social joys, flirtations and entertainment usually thrill you — but this time glitches/disruptions undercut your progress. Go slow. Retreat to quietude Thursday morning to Saturday evening. Rest, contemplate and plan. You’ll make progress with gov’t, management, if you go slow and deliberately. Sat. night? You emerge, you shine!
SCORPIO: Oct. 23-Nov. 21
This is your last week of errands, minor chores, paperwork and communications, Scorpio. Romance is sweet and affectionate to Feb., quiet and sober to May. Use January to plan your Feb.-to-June actions in finance, investments, research, sex/pregnancy, medical zones, and lifestyle changes. Any/all of these can be very lucky, all demand commitment. Be very cautious, now to late April, on legal, lawsuit, international, educational, media fronts. If you can settle a lawsuit quickly, do so. Sun./Mon. highlight this trend, but in a majorly fortunate way, so dive in, pounce on solutions and agreements. Be ambitious Tues./Wed., but realize it’s a case of “breaking your way upwards through obstacles.” Wishes can come true Thursday morning to Sat. eve. Optimism, a flirtatious mood, social delights and entertainment buoy your heart. Proceed slowly and easily — Sat. best.
SAGITTARIUS: Nov. 22-Dec. 21
The accent remains on money, buying/selling, casual sex, for one more week, Sage. At the same time, you are starting to be interested in deep, binding sex, in buying investments and in changing your whole life. This influence arrives in beneficial force Sunday/Monday, and lasts until April. From February to June, huge opportunities, beneficial relationships, even love and marriage, await you. Use January to plan your actions and explorations around this. Use this mantra for the next 6 months: away from yourself, to others. Or another: plan carefully, act impetuously. Someone might want to join you on the earnings/income path, but the bottom will fall out of this, so demur. Careful Wed./Thurs., when international, legal, educational, travel, publishing, love and similar interests blossom — careful, as obstacles exist. Collect money, buy/sell, embrace casual sex, or read to learn Thursday morning (almost 9 am PST) to Saturday evening. Maintain a steady, alert pace, and you’ll do fine.
CAPRICORN: Dec. 22-Jan. 20
This is your last week of heightened energy and charisma, Cap. (Which sounds odd, since Canadian Capricorn PM Trudeau was just ousted by his own party. But he has an Aries Moon, which means mid-25 to mid-26 will be a vacation for him. He’ll buy or build a new home, not necessarily in Canada.) But back to you: friends, casual acquaintances will treat you with affection, all month. You are just now gaining your voice — yes, speak up. Now to late April, others will be “in your face” — assertive, volatile, unreasoning. Be diplomatic, self-protective. This trend could also bring a “hot to handle” love affair. Soon (Feb.) your workload will expand — lucratively. Sun./Mon. brings relationships, opportunities, relocation themes, public appearances — all luckily. Follow another’s lead, or hold their hand. Finances, sex and medical issues meet frustration Tues./Wed., so be cautious, delay commitment. Mental love, far travel, foreign-born people, law, publishing, school, science, flow in Thurs. morning to Sat. evening. Think before acting, and you’ll do fine. Sat. night? Maybe a late, great opportunity to cement a career relationship.
AQUARIUS: Jan. 21-Feb. 18
One more week of lying low, Aquarius, of poor health/energy, quietude, and dealing with institutions, management, or gov’t. (They finally answer you this week to Feb.) Now to late April holds a lot of work, some of it hectic. Rest deeply this week to raise your energy reserves — you’ll need them! Your money picture looks great, until early February. February to June could bring one of the greatest romances of your life. Envision, plan to be “available.” Tackle chores Sun./Mon. Eat, dress sensibly. Success certain. Relationships fill Tues./Wed., but perhaps not in a way you’d prefer — lots of friction, disruption. Be calm, that lets you see others and their motives clearly. Sex, lust, power, big finances, secrets, intuition and research, medical and lifestyle decisions are emphasized Thurs. morning to Sat. eve. This can be a productive interval, if you go slowly and alertly. Best Saturday.
PISCES: Feb. 19-March 20
It’s your last week of delicious anticipation, Pisces — anticipation of social delights, friendly romance, of wishes coming true. Your “good looks” shine until Feb. 4, and some of those wishes (mostly around partnership or relocation) will at least be addressed, perhaps even fulfilled, into late January. You maintain a sober, realistic outlook until late May. Spend January planning to take advantage of the great real estate luck that will come from Feb. to June. Your romantic/creative picture is odd: now to late April, romance will be hot, impulsive, and you will be courageous, determined and “sensual,” but until late February, you might have trouble with sexual performance or awkwardness — then, March/April, full speed ahead for the love boat. If you have children, be delicate, gentle with them. Sun./Mon. addresses these very things: romance, children, creativity, etc., and in a fortunate way. Dive in. But be cautious as you tackle chores Tues,/Wed. — many glitches. Relationships, opportunities, “fame,” and relocation themes fill Thursday morning to Saturday eve. Good opportunities here, but proceed thoughtfully.
THE END.
AFTERAMBLE:
In 2032/33, Jupiter will conjunct Pluto again. The last time this happened was 2020, which gave us Covid 19. The Rwanda massacre in 1994 occurred with Jupiter conjunct Pluto in Scorpio, the sign of death. Pluto means death, transformation, major, deep change, astrophysics and technological genius. Jupiter means expansion, quick growth. So when Jupiter joins Pluto every 13 years or so, it often triggers massive deaths. (In 2007, another conjunction year, Nancy Pelosi became house speaker — a huge tragedy.) Seriously, one history website claims “2007 was, in many ways, a turning point for the world, with major milestones occurring in science and technology. This year, Netflix began streaming content, NASA landed a spacecraft on Mars, Steve Jobs introduced the first iPhone, and Tesla unveiled the efficient electric car, the Tesla Roadster.”
You can test the Jupiter-Pluto conjunction yourself: Pluto and Jupiter were conjunct (together in the same sign) in:
2020 – (in Capricorn) — Covid 19 (death by illness)
2007 — (in Sagittarius) — I phone, Tesla, Netflix all began; Mars landing (techno advances); H5N1 pandemic
1994 — (in Scorpio, sign of death) — Rwandan massacre (death by mass murder)
1981 (in Libra) — ?
1968 (in Virgo) — ?
1955/56 (in Leo) — ?
1943/44 (in Leo) — ?
1930/31 (in Cancer_ — ?
1918/19 (in Cancer) — ? (End of WWI)
1905/06 (in Gemini) — ?
Notice that, despite the “mass death” interpretation of the Jupiter-Pluto conjunction, none of these years start a major war.
As far as the U.S. is concerned, Uranus at 8-10 degrees Gemini is often involved when America goes to war. Uranus will be in this part of Gemini in Autumn 2027 to Spring 2029. February 2029 might be pivotal.
***
Looking ahead, the 2032/33 conjunction of Jupiter and Pluto occurs in Aquarius, an intellectual and rebellion-oriented sign. That “year” will mark a big step in political turmoil, terrorism (likely nuclear) in the development and implementation of nuclear fusion, in social restructuring, environmental awareness and inventions generally. The period 2023 to 2042 will prepare, will build the knowledge, techniques and science, to be used from 2043 to well into the 22nd century to explore space, other suns, and Uranus. We ‘ll have the first true “star flight.” (And/or a major star accomplishment about 2147 AD.)

Those big buildings, 50 stories and up, they have a personality. I don’t know how else to describe it. You look up at their top few floors, and it’s almost like a being staring out at the world. Many psychics believe that object used by humans can tell a lot about them, give insight into their future, etc. One of their favourite objects are house keys, because the person handles them all the time. Well, I think of the psychic vibrations of a 50 story apartment building made of concrete, with the mass of perhaps 10 billion keys? These building “personalities” seem quiet, gentle, accepting but strong, knowing they will last centuries unless humans tear it down for something bigger.

The Republican Party should change its name. In fearful times Americans see the President as a “warrior” against the world. They want someone tough and assertive, a President to be a protector against outside threats. The word Republican starts with an R — an Aries moniker. Aries is the god of war.
But on a local level, dealing with their county or state issues, they want someone “of the people.” The word Democrat starts with a D — an Aquarian moniker. Aquarius rules large groups, legislation, and “togetherness.” It also carries the connotation of popularity, freedom, etc. (*) So on a local level, many are inclined to vote for a D over an R — they don’t want a warrior sleeping in the next room. So even in times of fear (especially of themselves) people still gravitate toward D more than R on local issues, and even when the Republicans win the Congress, it is in such a slim majority that they have trouble doing any legislation. (As now.)
Therefore, my advice is: the Republicans should rename their party the Democratic Republican Party. It could end some stalemates.
(*) But not every citizen is valuable to Democrats — that’s a Republican ethic.

I don’t know if Trump will be a successful President or not. But I do note one thing: he doesn’t lie like other politicians. He brags, he exaggerates, but about the important things, he is much more open, transparent and truthful than any President in memory. In that regard, he stands tall against such deceptive professional pols as Obama and Biden, Pelosi and Hillary.

New agers say that love is the engine of the universe. My parents’ generation, the guys who fought World War II, used to say love makes the world go round.
Think of it this way: our physical world is made of liquids, solids, and gases, bumping up against each other. But every material on earth is built from atoms. (I won’t go deeper than that, partly because I’d be out of my depth.) So a piece of wood is solid and has a hard surface because the atoms that make up the molecules that make up the chemicals that make up the wood, cling so tightly together. If these atoms and everything else down there did not bond with others, we would have no material… Except perhaps some kind of primeval soup.
But what holds these atoms in the bond — what bonds them? Whether by gravity or magnetism or electric charge, these atoms/molecules are attracted to each other. In other words, the very existence of our corporeal world and universe is based on attraction, and attraction is love.
This can also mean that the universe lives in ecstasy. You can see this in trees, that dance in slow adoration of the sky, in all plants, in oceans and animals and humans, even in the sunlight. All exist in a sort of slow-motion ecstasy. So Jesus and the New Agers were right!

When we were young, we used to say that whatever fashion or trend occurred in the U.S. would come to Canada 10 years later. That time lag seems to have shortened:
In America, the Democrats/Liberals did an “Ides of March” on their leader, Biden, then had to rush for the election. The conservative/republican nominee (Trump) had to face a completely unexpected, new challenger.
In Canada (fast forward 5 months) the Liberals have also politically assassinated their leader, Trudeau — with an election looming. So whoever becomes the party’s leader will face an rushed election, and the conservative leader (Poilivre) has to face a completely new (as yet unknown) opponent.
***
Did Biden try to turn Americans into insects (the animal form of communism)?
