START NOTHING (ALL TIMES ARE PACIFIC DAYLIGHT): 2:18 am to 1:16 pm Sun., 10:43 am to 1:26 pm Tuesday., 11:26 am to 3:50 pm Thurs., and 3:54 pm to 9:34 pm Sat.
PREAMBLE:
ALL SIGNS — The Mercury Rx period started March 15 and will last to April 7 (7:08 am PDT) — 24 days. During this time, supplies will go missing, schedules fall apart, “no shows” increase, and mistakes, delays and indecision are rife. So DON’T start new projects nor relationships, nor major purchases, before April 7. They would tend to fail.
Roughly during the same period, but lasting slightly longer, to April 12, Venus is also retrograde. This hints that social, love and friendly goals face delays and headwinds. (Children born during this Venus Rx period — March 1 to April 12 —will tend to have many lovers.)
A former love might reappear between now and mid-April, esp. for the air and fire signs (Gemini, Lira, Aquarius and Aries, Leo and Sagittarius)..
***
Neptune changes signs this Sunday, March 30, entering Aries where it will stay until early 2039. Some comments, predictions based on this are in the AFTERAMBLE.
WEEKLY FORECAST:
ARIES: March 21-April 19
You remain on top of the world, Aries, as your physical, mental and emotional areas receive an up-burst in energy. However, it’s still not time to start new [projects, relationships nor major purchases before April 7 (and for relationships, before April 13). Home still contains friction, but you might want to work strenuously there — but no renovations before April 13. Meanwhile, use your extra energy to give ongoing situations a push, to protect them, and/or to reprise a project or relationship fro the past. This week, a promise, a duty, a gov’t link, returns, and you should handle it. (Taxes?) Early Sunday, do anything you want. This eve to midday Tues. (PDT) nudges you toward possessions, buying/selling, casual sex and light learning — poor luck Sunday, good after. Tackle errands, paperwork and communications midday Tuesday to late afternoon Thursday. Act before Thursday. Be home, hug the family, attend to security concerns, Thursday afternoon through Sat.
TAURUS: April 20-May 20
Lie low, Taurus. Rest, contemplate (don’t plan) seek advice, and liaise with management, gov’t. Don’t start new relationships, projects nor major purchases before April 13 (April 7 for some; April 13 for you). Instead, protect ongoing situations and/or reprise those from the past. (A particular wish you once had might come true this week or next.) Continue chasing money, big and small. Travel, communications are hectic, impulsive. Rest Sunday morning. Your energy rises Sunday pm to midday Tuesday (PDT) — be cautious Sunday, then charge ahead Mon./Tues. Tuesday pm to mid-afternoon Thursday brings money, easy learning, maybe casual intimacy (“friends with benefits”). Tues./Wed. great, Thursday is difficult. Errands, travel, paperwork and communications fill Thursday eve through Sat. Fri./Sat. are easy, pleasing!
GEMINI: May 21-June 20
You’re headed toward happiness, Gemini. Your popularity is growing, inside you feel a comforting optimism, and flirtations, social delights, and entertainment fill your days. However, read “All Signs” in the Preamble above: don’t start any new projects, relationships nor major purchases before April 7. Instead, protect and support ongoing situations. A former boss, or former position, might return now or next week. If it was good in the past, take it; it not, reject it. Lots of heat and impulse in money, incoming and outgoing. (Only 3 more weeks of this.) Sunday dawns with hope, but this pm to midday Tuesday nudges you to rest, contemplate, seek advice, and deal with gov’t or management types (e.g., organizing a tax return). Sunday’s difficult; Mon./Tues. are beneficial. Your energy and charisma soar Tuesday pm to Thursday afternoon — Tues./Wed. are great, but take care late Wednesday night and Thursday. Collect $, buy/sell, hug (or more) a friend, read to learn Thursday pm through Sat. — Fri./Sat. are smooth, fortunate.
CANCER: June 21-July 22
The accent lies on ambition, prestige and worldly status, Cancer. You’ve been assertive or aggressive in chasing these since January. But now to April 7, don’t start any new ambitions, projects, relations nor major purchases — instead, protect the ongoing, and/or reprise past situations. (Speaking of which, an old flame might re-appear this week or next — so might a legal, publishing or learning obligation.) Early Sunday you might feel ambitious, but later day, into noon Tuesday (PDT) you incline toward the social, toward friends and social joys, flirtations and entertainment — all a bit muted but sweet and smooth. Retreat to rest, contemplate, seek advice and liaise with gov’t or head office Tuesday afternoon to Thursday afternoon. Caution Thursday — mistakes and deception. Thursday eve through Sat., your energy and charisma surge upward — get things done, be assertive, romantic and ambitious!
LEO: July 23-Aug. 22
You’re in the midst of a mind-expanding month, Leo. (3 weeks to go.) Far travel, higher learning, publishing/media, law, profound ideas, religion/philosophy, and gentle love — these quietly enter your life now. you grow mellow and tolerant. A romantic or creative wish can still come true, now to June. Continue to avoid angry people and dark places. (3 weeks left of this trend, too.) An old flame or farmer spouse might have returned in March. If so, now to the middle of April you will be dealing with the deeper and more intimate sides of this relationship, and probably ultimately deciding whether you want it or not. Remember, start nothing brand new in relationships, major purchases or projects before April 7. Sunday morning is mellow, but the afternoon all the way to midday Tuesday sparks your ambition — you will make headway Monday and Tuesday (not Sunday). (Romantic) wishes could come true Tuesday pm to Thursday afternoon — a happy, social time with friendly flirting. (Except Thursday, which is difficult all day.) Retreat, rest, contemplate, seek advice, and liaise with gov’t or head office Thursday eve (difficult) through Fri./Sat. (benevolent).
VIRGO: Aug. 23-Sept. 22
The accent lies on the hidden, occult, secrets, investigation, major finances (investment/debt) power plays, medical concerns, lifestyle changes, sex (lust) and pregnancy. Don’t break any rules (e.g., extra-marital sex) Virgo, and you’ll do well. Research is important, because learning a fact or two can give you the advantage in a competition or in the stock market. All these, from research to investment to sex, are fired-up now (actually, since early January — until April 18). However, avoid impulse, and don’t start anything brand new — projects, relationships or major purchases — before April 7. (Don’t start money projects before April 13.) Sunday starts mysteriously, but ends up mellow and profound, right into midday Tuesday. Mon./Tues. favour far travel, higher learning, law, media, and love. Be ambitious Tuesday pm to midday Thurs. Remember, this is the centre of your good luck to June. (I’d wait until after April 7, then volubly ask for a promotion, more duties, etc.) Thursday’s difficult, though, so act earlier. Thursday pm through Saturday brings popularity, social delights, flirtations and optimism. You’ll be happy!
LIBRA: Sept. 23-Oct. 22
The main emphasis, Libra, lies on relationships, public appearances, general opportunities, and relocation themes. Until late June, you are in a very favourable relationship phase, as travel and communications repeatedly spark love potentials. Some Librans will agree to marry or co-habitate in April, May or June. Others might grab a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Until April 18, bosses are cranky, and even your spouse or lover tries to dominate you. DO NOT agree to marry before April 18. A former job or co-worker could re-appear. It would last (the job) only a few weeks. Before April 7, don’t start any new projects, relationships nor major purchases. Sunday starts with a bit of tension, but later segues into intimacy/lust, finances, secrets and research. In these, Mon./Tues. are great (not Sunday). Mellow, gentle love and understanding midday Tuesday to Thursday afternoon. Legal, publishing, educational and international themes succeed — except Thursday. This eve through Saturday brings recognition — dress well, be ambitious.
SCORPIO: Oct. 23-Nov. 21
Yuck — 3 more weeks of work, Scorpio. Might as well just bend your shoulders and do it. Eat, dress sensibly. Strictly avoid lawsuits before April 18 (unless you’re a lawyer — if so, lot of work). DON’T start any new projects or major purchases before April 7 and no new relationships before April 13. Your finances, investments/debt are fortunate, maybe super-fortunate, to June 9. An old flame might return this week or next. Sunday morning holds a chore, but this eve to midday Tuesday promotes relationships, public appearances and general opportunities. (Sunday eve not so good, Mon./Tues. excellent.) You step into life’s more guarded, secret side Tuesday pm to Thursday afternoon. Sex, power, major finances, lifestyle changes and medical concerns meet barriers Thursday, but succeed nicely, profitably Tues./Wed. Thursday pm (difficult) and Fri./Sat. (good, fortunate) focus on law, learning, far travel, profound ideas and gentle love.
SAGITTARIUS: Nov. 22-Dec. 21
Ah, sweet romance! This, and creativity, risk, sports/games, pleasure, beauty, and the talents of children — these fill your days for 3 more weeks, Sage. Meanwhile your sexual (and financial) desires are impulsive and “hot” (since January) until April 18. Go slowly with this. (Sex might even interfere wth romance.) Until April 7, don’t start any new projects, relationships nor major purchases (including investments). Something to do with your former home or a family project “returns” now from the past. Remember, you are lucky in relocation until mid-June. Sunday morning is romantic, but it hardly gets a chance when, this afternoon to midday Tuesday, a pile of chores confronts you. Well, dive in — you’ll get a very satisfying amount done (except Sunday eve). Midday Tuesday to mid-afternoon Thursday brings significant relationships, opportunities and “appearances.” Tues./Wed. are easy and lucky, but exercise caution Wed. night thru Thursday — this whole day’s a loss. Secrets, subconscious desires, medical and lifestyle decisions, sex/lust, power plays and major finances arrive Thursday eve through Sat. Act Fri./Sat., when your luck is good!
CAPRICORN: Dec. 22-Jan. 20
The accent lies on your domestic set-up, Cap. On home, land, security, family (all generations) — and on “pruning” — throwing out stale plants and people, in order to plant new seeds. (However, don’t go planting anything brand new, especially relationships, major purchases or projects, before April 7. In career and romance, wait until April 13/14 to proceed.) There is still lots of work, to June. A former friend, associate or teacher might re-appear for a week or two. Enlist him or her, but don’t get caught in their schemes or plans. (The plans might change, leaving you holding the bag.) Sunday morning’s for home — sleep in. This afternoon to midday Tuesday brings romance, creative surges, and beauty, pleasure. Sunday’s difficult, but Mon./Tues. are fair and lucky. Tackle chores Tuesday pm to mid-afternoon Thursday. Eat, dress sensibly. You’ll get a lot accomplished. Thursday night (difficult) through Fri./Sat. (both fortunate) bring exciting meetings, opportunities, some opposition, maybe a public appearance. The one you’re with Saturday is the best one.
AQUARIUS: Jan. 21-Feb. 18
The emphasis lies on errands, short trips, reports, anecdotes, documents, paperwork, communications and casual acquaintances, Aquarius. This is a hurried, swift time, but not an important time. More important is your romantic luck (child-oriented luck if you’re married) — the highest in 12 years, until June. Work remains hectic and heavy, but will lighten up after April 18. Don’t start any brand new relationships, projects or major purchases before April 7 (April 13 for legal, travel or scholastic projects). A former $ source might return, briefly. More communications Sunday morning, but this night (difficult) to Mon./Tues. (very fortunate) steers you toward home, family, property, security and Mother Nature. Get plenty of rest, because Tuesday eve to mid-afternoon Thursday will bring a rush of significant romance or creativity — but skip Thursday, as it’s filled with obstacles. Thursday night, also obstacles, but Fri./Sat. are filled with good luck in sex, power plays, research, medical and lifestyle decisions, and big finances.
PISCES: Feb. 19-March 20
The accent is on earnings and possessions, Pisces. Buy/sell, collect $ and pay bills, learn from a book, maybe hug a “friend with benefits.” This week and next you can feel quite undecided about what to do and who to do it with. Be patient, mid April will clear everything up. Remember, you are extremely favoured in real estate and family and security matters until June. Romantically, you’ve been a bit of a house on fire since January – this lasts until April 18. Start no brand new projects, relationships nor major purchases before June 7. You might have been working quietly and surely toward one of your cherished goals for the last couple of years. If you are still pursuing this, use April and May to really push your case, as by June everything will change in this zone. Do shopping Sunday morning, but be careful. This afternoon to Tuesday afternoon brings errands, short trips, communications and paperwork – all favourably Monday/Tuesday (not Sunday). Tuesday afternoon (PDT) to late afternoon Thursday highlights your home and domestic situation — favourably Tuesday/Wednesday, but difficulties arise Thursday. Romance, creative surges, risk, Beaty, pleasure, talented kids — these greet you Thursday pm (not great) and Fri./Sat. (very good).
THE END.
AFTERAMBLE:
THE NEXT 9 SHORT ITEMS ARE BASED ON NEPTUNE IN ARIES, A 14-YEAR PHASE THAT BEGINS THIS SUNDAY, MARCH 30:
A new religion will be born in the next decade and a half.
***
New optical devices, too.
***
Same decade and a half, gas will be used in war. Maybe a kind of sleeping gas? It will probably be permitted because the effects won’t cause permanent harm — but will allow an army to capture another.
***
Illusion will be developed as a military weapon. At the very least, there will be an outpouring of military-related films, an increase in military propaganda,
***
Blood, maybe blood flow, will become a major medical issue or area of discovery, also the 14 years ahead.
***
Pipelines will blow up or leak dramatically. LNG terminals, et al, will expand with bold new construction, but caution is needed: gas ignites easily.
***
Nurses will perform surgeries and operations. New types of surgery will be developed.
***
The major war threats, now to 2038/39, will be naval and by “sky-flyers.”
***
Terrorists will wear purple clothing.
***
NOW, BACK TO REGULAR PROGRAMMING:
Trans men in girls’ and women’s sports and bathrooms? Easy to solve — any male is allowed into women’s changing rooms and sports, as long as s(he) doesn’t have a penis or testicles. Cut those off, and you’re welcome! (The most sensible and fair way to handle this though, is to have separate teams and changing rooms specifically for trans people. They can play against themselves and they can play with themselves in the locker rooms. Short on money because the trans-only teams are so small that the fan base is almost nonexistent? Just ask Pelosi, who’s ripped off millions from her dirty deals, or Bumbling Biden, or all the liberal thieves? Will they put their money where their mouth is, I.e., in the nether regions?)

In the past, Uranus in Gemini has sparked a major U.S. war: the American Revolution, the U.S. Civil War and World War Two. So, we might see one of those between this July, 2025 and 2033.
***
The world is undergoing a major change, or series of changes. I think Trump is at the forefront, or a harbinger (though his actions go beyond augury) of this wave of change, some of which I’ve mentioned in the items above.
With Pluto in Aquarius, nuclear power will progress in leaps and bounds for 18 years. Politics will be filled with death; rebels will be ambitious, stubborn, “death lovers.”
Neptune enters Aries this week for 14 years: think of anything that uses or includes fire (e.g., an engine) and combine it with gas, or “expansion” or dreamy/spiritual — and whatever you get, will probably come about.
Saturn enters Aries in May, bringing a dominance in military affairs for 2 + years. All that natural gas and LNG port stuff above — now Saturn attempts to add structure, to contain Neptune’s gas in some way, to box it. Saturn will hopefully contain inflation for two years.
Uranus enters Gemini in July, for 7 years. In the last 7 years, Uranus has disrupted science, for example, SpaceX and a bevy of other spaceship builders are supplanting NASA. What was a government agency (being in theory a peak spot of concentration of the entire citizenry) becomes social — a group of billionaires competing like boys with each other. So science will be taken out of the hands of the bureaucrats and put in the care of group enterprise. There is a certain joy in the actions of these billionaires. I hope they don’t become like a French court in the flouncy days, when men showed off their ankles. Socializing, forming groups, is Aquarius’ and Uranus’ favourite mode and function. Now a new trend enters science for awhile, one of harmony, smoothness, friendship and group action.
But not in the world. In the past, Uranus in Gemini has sparked a major U.S. war: the American Revolution, the U.S. Civil War and World War Two. So, we might see one of those between this July and 2033. I can’t resist thinking of Trump here. On the positive side, world leaders have matured over the years, and the natural bent toward preservation of the species (not only in the bedroom) should prevent nuclear war.
Should. Pluto in Aquarius hints at a small group, terrorists, obtaining and using a nuclear device.
These wars incline me to think researcher Marc Penfield was right in guessing the the U.S.A.’s rising sign is Sagittarius.
Uranus will now also disrupt bureaucrats (you see this with DOGE) nurses, vitamin and supplement peddlers, cosmetic surgery, pipelines, and institutions such as universities and hospitals — until 2033. For example, you’ve recently seen Trump economically punish Columbia and other schools for their anti-semitic behaviour.
(BTW, some readers might say, “Hey, Uranus doesn’t enter Gemini until July, but you’re saying all these ‘future things’ are already happening now, in March.” Yeah. I’ve observed over the last few decades that when a major planet — Jupiter to Pluto — changes signs, the new events and trends belonging to the sign to be entered, often appear weeks or months — in Neptune and Pluto’s cases, perhaps a year or more — before the technical entry. (*) This is a supporting argument for cusps.)
(*) For example, Neptune in Aries will make fires huge for 13-14 years: but this trend has already started, with the huge Hawaii fire and the recent L.A. disaster. This could simply be cusp action — i.e., the theoretical mingling of two sign’s qualities at their boundaries. Hence, 27 degrees Aries to 3 degrees Taurus, is almost like a third sign, combining the qualities of both signs. There is disagreement on how “wide” a cusp is — 2 degrees? 3? 6? This discrepancy occurs, I believe, because there simply is no definable “end” to Gemini’s influence and definable “start” to Cancer. — Except in math, which gives us a technical end to Gemini, and a day and hour of Cancer’s beginning. But math is artificial; nature is more complex than math. Nature “says” Gemini’s energy flows and mingles with Cancer’s like the Thompson and Fraser rivers; when they merge, one cloudy, one clear, it takes miles before the remaining river turns uniformly “semi-brown.” Or look at the Fraser estuary in Richmond or off Spanish Banks — the brown river water and the green ocean slowly dissolve into each other for miles/kms — but 20 miles out in the middle of the strait, it’s all just green.
***
Jupiter also changes signs this June, but I’ll probably do a luck item on that around June.
***
If I was the king of Canada, I’d immediately slap a 2,000 % tariff on every single item, bar none, from the U.S. In other words I would shut down all trade between the two countries. Let the U.S. know what we did, now don’t, contribute. Or, I’d go 100 % the other way, no tariffs whatsoever. Either way Canada would “win” the trade war, but the first way would take longer, and be more anger-driven. I hate to say it, but Carney would be the better man to deal with Trump. His Virgo Moon dominates (astrologically) Donald’s Moon, and his Pisces Sun dominates Trump’s Sun — all things being equal, which they aren’t. Hard for David to slay Goliath — but in the War of 1812, Canada burned the White House.
As for who will be Canada’s next PM, I made a prediction about a month ago, but now I have the election date, April 28, a bad week and bad day for Pierre Poly. So let me go and look again….

When a person is depressed, he or she makes bad decisions, takes wrong actions, and turns away from fortunate opportunities. When a person is cheerful, he/she is also friendly, and usually has good luck, makes good decisions, takes good actions and welcomes fortunate opportunities.
It’s as simple as that.
In somewhat the same vein, a Gemini girlfriend I once had, or she had me as the Beatles would sing, said, “if you’re angry, you’ll only meet a**holes.” Conversely, the cheerful person makes friends, and — though not meaning to be — or perhaps somewhat subconsciously, hovering on the lip of awareness until realizing it at some point in life — is secure through them.
Every criminal is angry, though they have a thousand faces. So what does that say about their social life? This prevalence of anger in lawbreakers hints that we might dramatically reduce crime if we could find and cure the source of that anger, for surely it is a major component of the urge to hurt others. Theft, I suspect, is an action half of greed and half of anger.
Anger’s essential role is to justify the crime(s).Without this justification the majority of criminals would not be able to continue, for it would go against their conscience. (I believe criminals generally have stronger consciences than the ordinary bloke, which sounds surprising. But if you view the criminal as the product of a, say, abusive childhood, and let’s suppose the abused child had a natural, strong sense of justice, and this sense being violated repeatedly by his/her parent(s) (it’s never just one) the child still could not demand justice, nor fight to establish or enforce it, because he/she’s outgunned physically, socially, and in accrued experience. (This last is the most potent of the three.) Now let this man grow into a teenager, and then a man. As a teen, he is finally able to establish himself in some way. The abused teen will usually have fewer friends, and will be more likely to cross the line, the boundaries, partly because his parents ignored/violated so many that he was not well trained in them, and partly because he has few constraints on his greed, temper, desire — these are beginning to emerge as clothing for his anger — anger sews and justifies the garments. This teen might be a bully, or is likely to steal. When a sliver of guilt intrudes, his anger surges in defence. Was it crooked to abuse me so long? Was it crooked for my mother to abandon me to my father? So how fucking little crooked is it for me to steal those shirts on the.line? Or a couple of cartons of cottage cheese from behind Safeway?
As a man, our abused child grows more angry, more impatient, and more ready to screw anybody, since by this point he has decided that not only his parents, but God, too, has screwed him.
***
Life is filled with oddballs, users, criminals, the disabled, the angry, homeless, schizophrenic, beggars, enablers, professional victims, yet we all, somehow, progress at amazing speed, growing more compassionate, understanding and empathic every decade. I think the Cold War in the 50’s-60’s started the present wave of empathy, or gave it a grounding, due to the unacceptable prospect of mutual annihilation.
***
For 2 years, we’ll do well on interest rates. After that, no guarantees — rates/inflation should soar in 2034/35.
***
Trump might be doing Canada a favour by alienating us. If the U.S. goes to war in the next 7 years, Canada can justifiably step aside… The last time Canada rushed to aid America, and were the first soldiers in Iraq besides the Americans themselves, there before the British, before the French and Poles, before anyone else. Yet Republican George Bush Junior held a news conference and praised every nation that had helped America — except Canada. Somehow Canada fell off his list, or was never put there. To pay this dolt back, months later Canadian PM Chretien gave Bush an unceremonious public shove in Calgary at some g-7 or whatever meeting.

Recent reports say China has developed an AI platform called Deep Seek, which would use magnitudes less energy that the North American AI developers need. That’s why uranium fell in the last few weeks; experts said America would need new nuclear reactors to supply the power for their clunky AI. Then along comes China with an AI that you could probably plug into your house circuit.
Next, the stock market reveals that Chinese EVs are out-selling Teslas at a dramatic rate. (They’re cheaper.) On top of that,, reports say the Chinese have developed a battery that will charge in five minutes, compared to the half hour or more needed for Teslas.
If these items are true, then American technology needs to get its act together.
Militarily, it seems a decade ago that the Chinese boosted a hypersonic missile. Now, years later, Trump is talking about a defensive shield over the entire US, somewhat like the iron dome used in Israel. But, the iron dome may not be able to repel hypersonic missiles. Such a shield, if constructed, will probably take 5 to 10 years to install and be fully operational. But as I’ve mentioned in another item, the US might well be at war between 2025 and 2032. Will the Dome be operational in time?
Trump has just announced the F 47, a super advanced fighter jet that is meant to be accompanied by a fleet of drones – I thought, that’s really pretty clever! But it isn’t even scheduled to enter production for years.
That’s a lot of necessary getting-the-act-togetherism!
