Christmas Day, unexpected guests arrive. Save any arguments for Boxing Day (or Kwanzaa) when you won’t bother. Both days emphasize love and co-operation, as the Moon’s in Libra. But we’ll also see the wounds of old fights, and a reminder of old and hidden upheavals.

Year Ahead:

LEO, last year’s quiet trend continues to early July. Solitude, contemplation, rest, planning, and interfacing with civil servants, large corporations or institutions – these will reward you. If you’re married, enjoy cozy intimacy. If unattached, you should probably wait until after July to pursue romance. (However, January through July brings many casual friendships – one of these carries a hint of marital bliss. But if you’re uncertain, wait.) Through July,  don’t gossip or say/write anything that raises legal dangers.

Your birthday begins one of the luckiest years of your life, filled with fortune, love, and creative success. You’ll whirl toward exciting horizons and accomplishments. An unusual influence will attract allies, opportunities, luck – and romantic attention, especially August to October – when a marriageable prospect arrives – and December. The best way to attract love in 2014 and 15 is to be yourself. Be spontaneous; express your heart, plunge into pleasure!

Careful with temper, especially at home, in late summer. Don’t move into a new home from July 27 to September 13.

During January/February, your domestic scene is favored (slow, stodgy, healthy). Your career has met brick walls since 2012, but January to March brings affectionate co-workers, and from March onward your career bounces with new energy. It will tend to grow unfettered for 17 years.

 

VIRGO, you’ll remember 2014 for many years, due to its unusual money happenings. For almost 8 months (last December through this July) an unusual amount of money will flow toward you. Some Virgos will end this period much wealthier than before; some will end poorer. The difference: self-discipline, refusing to overspend. This extra money might come from an inheritance, a pension coming due, or from your own investments. It can also enable you to make new investments – do so, but not impetuously. The weeks ahead emphasize your ambitions, career, your worldly standing and community reputation, prestige relations and dealings with authorities. This entire area is slowly changing (2008 to 2024) – and the change is “enforced.” (That is, fighting the change will bring negative results: flowing with it can boost you high.) This “nudge to change” happens several times each year, but it reaches a wee peak this December 30 and January 1. Be flexible, be cheerful, and eager for new things, projects, roles. (Better if these are the new things the boss wants, more than the ones you want.) Tackle chores Sunday to Tuesday – you’ll succeed. (But watch your health, and “misread instructions” Sunday afternoon/eve.) This week starts with a beautiful romantic atmosphere Sunday to Tuesday. Creativity and competitive gambles are also superbly starred. GEMINI   May 21-June 20

This week begins a month of depth, mystery and change. Do what you can here, act on your hunches and/or impulses – let wisdom come later (it will, in February). You’ll find it easier than usual to sidle into intimacy, and to locate good investments. Lots of good things can happen in these few weeks, even health news and lifestyle changes. One warning: through December 30, beware of “gambling” with investments. Also, romance and sexual urges could be “enemies,” rather than working harmoniously together – you might need to choose one. Relationships grow in the four weeks ahead. I don’t repeat this much anymore, but you are in the zone of true love, to 2024. This “zone” can also cause a lot of relationship wrestling or conflict over the same period. At times, resentment or animosity might be love in disguise. Look deeply into your own motives when dealing with others. Friction bites your home’s calm for the next 7 months – this pre-dawn Wednesday brings one of the upsets or stresses to a peak, so speak, drive and handle electricity and computers carefully Tues./Wed. Otherwise, this is a beautiful, smooth, productive week. Run errands, travel, call, handle paperwork and details Sunday pm to Tuesday – all’s well. A wish could come true over the four weeks ahead, Pisces.
