PREAMBLE:

ALL SIGNS:  Mercury remains retrograde until midday (1 pm PST) Dec. 15. We should all deal with past or ongoing projects, relationships or situations. Try to foresee delays, prevent supply shortages, missed appointments, etc. This is not a good time to start anything new. However, potentially fortunate “returnees” from the past — old lovers, old projects, could reappear.

WEEKLY FORECAST:

aries icon  ARIES:  March 21-April 19

The accent remains on far travel, higher learning, law, profound ideas and love, Aries. It’s also the last week of delays, mistakes and indecision. Although you are “romantically eager,” your libido and drive toward intimacy tend to slacken now to early January. But it will return next April, and burn with a bright flame well into June. Your popularity and social side meet affection, now to early January. All week, avoid new launches, new relationships or major purchases. Instead, protect ongoing situations, and/or reprise past ones. Lie low, rest and contemplate Sunday — a smooth interval. Your energy and charisma soar Monday morning to dawn Wednesday (PST) — everything you do seems touched with success! Tackle money situations Wednesday morning to a little past dawn Friday. Be cautious, glitches abound Wed., but Thursday offers some progress. Errands, communications, short trips and paperwork fill Fri./Sat. If you can avoid/handle a restriction (gov’t or corporate or health) these two days hold “a notice of love” and an open door to travel.

taurus icon  TAURUS:  April 20-May 20

The emphasis remains on secrets, “cheating,” sexual desires, large finances, research, life changes and possible surgery, Taurus. Anger, friction has existed on the home front (and might have affected your stomach/digestion) for a month. Now it remains (until Jan. 6) but without “evidence” — it (friction) either wafts away, or is driven deeper, into “non-communicative” resentment. (Then there can be lots of talk, January to April, about this, solving this.) At work, higher-ups favour you now to early January — take advantage, submit docs to gov’t agencies or ask for a pay raise, (small) promotion. Continue to avoid making new relationships or major purchases or launching new projects — this is the last week of this caution, of delays and indecision. Sunday’s social — flirt, indulge, wish upon a star! But retreat Monday pre-dawn to dawn Wed. (PST). Lie low, rest, contemplate, liaise with gov’t or head office. Early success, but be cautious late Tuesday night. Your energy and charisma soar Wednesday morning to mid-morn Friday. Wednesday holds challenges — perhaps a conflict between outside ambitions and security/family — but conditions improve Thursday./Fri. Collect $, buy/sell, hug a sexy friend Fri./Sat. All’s good, except, perhaps, a disapproving friend.

gemini icon  GEMINI:  May 21-June 20

You’re still involved with crucial relationships, Gemini — perhaps with a Sagittarian. Fresh horizons, opportunities, relocation themes, partnerships and public appearances are slated — but, paradoxically, the cosmos will not support any new project, relationship or purchase made now (before Dec. 16). So stick with ongoing situations, or reprise one from the past. (Yes, an old flame might appear — “marriage” is the motive.) Relationships become more affectionate now to early January. An Aquarian might be involved. You’ve been quite restless, involved with errands, contacts/friends, travel, communications and paperwork. These “slow” now to arty Jan., but don’t go away. Delays in your ambitions/career have just ended. Sunday highlights this — work to impress a boss. A mood of celebration enters pre-dawn Monday to dawn Wednesday (PST). Love, friends, social delights and optimism soar. Light, friendly love is definitely favoured! Retreat, lie low, contemplate and rest (don’t plan) Wednesday to dawn Friday. Wednesday’s tough, late Thursday to early Friday offer success. Your energy and charisma soar Fri./Sat. — do something meaningful!

Cancer icon  CANCER:  June 21-July 22

The accent remains on employment, Cancer, on chores, machines/tools, daily health, and duties to dependents. DON’T buy machines this week, nor start new work projects. (Read “ALL SIGNS” above.) A former task, co-worker or employment role might return. Your assets are favoured until early January — skip this present week, but otherwise it’s a good time to invest. Much money has flowed to you the last 4 weeks; this trend continues to Jan. 6, but in a slackening or backwards way — make sure you’ve enough to pay debts. Sunday’s mellow, enlightening, tolerant and gently loving. You might “see” where you want to travel in future. Be ambitious, plunge into career, pleasing bosses Monday pre-dawn to dawn Wed. (PST). Could be great results! Your popularity, optimism, and “ready to party” side blossom Wed. dawn to just past dawn Friday. Wednesday’s tough, but Thurs./Fri. please! Retreat, lie low, contemplate and rest Fri./Sat. — a smooth, easy interval, but don’t push a relationship issue.

Leo icon  LEO:  July 23-Aug. 22

Ah, Leo. Romance, creative and risk-taking success, play, art, pleasure and the pursuit of beauty fill this week and next. Your own sexual magnetism has glowed since early November — and continues to do so until Jan. 6, but in a different way — a little reduced, maybe “connected” to a former lover. “Lover’s impotence” possible. On all fronts, but especially in romance, creativity, etc., delays and indecision prevail. Don’t start a new relationship (nor project, nor big purchase) this week — but a former flame could appear, and trigger pretty strong passion. AND others in general treat you with affection the rest of December. AND your social circle has been expanding since last June, and will until June 2025. This all spells love’s success. Sunday’s for lust, finances, investment/debt, research. Profound ideas, international affairs/travel, religion, law, media, higher learning — these fill Monday/Tuesday, and there’s not a cloud in the sky, so charge ahead. Be ambitious Wed./Thurs. Wednesday’s tough but maybe productive; Thursday’s smooth, also productive. Wishes could come true   Fri./Sat. Your popularity and optimism rise, flirtation and friendly romance are almost there for there plucking!

virgo icon  VIRGO:  Aug. 23-Sept. 22

For two more weeks, Virgo, the emphasis lies on your home, family, security and Mother Nature. Don’t start anything new in these or other than areas before Dec. 16. Instead, protect ongoing situations from delays, supply shortages, mistakes and indecision, and/or bring back semi-successes from the past. DON’T start renovations. A “long lost” relative might return. Continue to avoid hostile people and dangerous venues until Jan. 6. Others are slow to respond to you, but they remain loyal, and perhaps more attracted than they are willing to show. Co-workers become affectionate, gracious until early Jan. Sunday focuses on (prospective) partners, opportunities, public appearances, agreements. Better late than early. Life’s hidden side blossoms Monday/Tuesday, bringing secrets, research, lust/intimacy, major finances, medical and lifestyle decisions. Plunge into these, good luck rides with you. A broader view, general truths, far travel, media, law, higher learning and gentle love visit you Wed./Thurs. — Wednesdays’ difficult, Thursday’s productive. Be ambitious Fri./Sat. — lots of good luck here, but don’t rely on a “partner.”

libra icon  LIBRA:  Sept. 23-Oct. 22

Your wedding planet is in your friendship sector, your friendship planet is in your wedding sector, your own planet (Venus) has just entered your romance sector (to early January) and your marriage planet is in your wishes-come-true, social, friendly romance sector. If you’re a single Libra, and you aren’t mucking about with someone(s), something’s wrong! On the other hand, three of these four planets are retrograding, so ultimate results are delayed, even uncertain. The one thing that’s not delayed is romance, creativity and pleasure/beauty. So, you know where best to aim. BTW, read “ALL SIGNS” above — don’t start any new relationships, projects nor major purchases before Dec. 16. Looking forward, a usually good lover, “performer,” might be a little slack until January. (It’s his/her lack of confidence or decisiveness.) Sunday’s for chores — get ‘em done. Relationships, argument/agreement, public dealings, marriage, opportunities and relocation themes fill Mon./Tues. — in a great, lucky way. Next, Wed./Thurs. these relationships and opportunities “slide out of” public view, and demand commitment as the next step in the relationship or opportunity. My advice: be slow to commit, especially Wed. Fri./Sat. bring big ideas, gentle love, travel, legal and media matters — almost all good, if you don’t let chores, health interfere.

scorpio icon  SCORPIO:  Oct. 23-Nov. 21

The main accent lies on money and possessions (including, if applicable, a lover you “possess”) and on rote learning, Scorpio. This is a rather mellow, undisturbed week. But DON’T start any new projects, businesses, relationships or major purchases. Instead protect ongoing situations, and/or reprise something good from the past. (A former intimate partner might return.) You sexual, financial, investment picture looks very fortunate, but results are delayed until February, so don’t push this zone. Bosses have been temperamental and pushy the last few weeks. This continues, but “slacks off” until Jan. 6. (Means they still think the same way, but are suspecting they should “lighten up.”) Your home, family are sweet and welcoming now to early Jan. Romance is slow and serious, will “speed up” after May. Sunday brings romance — deep and true, late night. Tackle chores Mon./Tues. Eat, dress sensibly. You’ll get lots done — not a glitch anywhere. Relationships, fame, fresh horizons, opportunities fill Wed./Thurs. Careful Wed., proceed Thurs. Secrets, major finances, research, medical and lifestyle decisions/actions, lust (for sex or power or both) occultism — these thrive Fri./Sat. — but romance doesn’t.

sagittarius icon  SAGITTARIUS:  Nov. 22-Dec. 21

This is your time, Sage! Your energy, charisma, clout, all reach annual highs this week ands next. I didn’t use the word “effective” because (until Dec. 15) delays, mistakes, shortages and second guessing run through the days like black thread on a white dress. Start no new projects, relationships nor big purchases before Dec. 16. A former spouse or love could reappear. Now to Jan. 6, avoid lawsuits. Same period, higher studies, travel, or trying to steer a lover to the altar, won’t work. Just relax, this matter will return April to June, fresh and “ready.” Friends, casual contacts, treat you well until January, making communications, errands and paperwork beneficial and rewarding. You might be focused on marriage or other partnerships this year (to June 2025) — but progress is delayed now, will restart in February. Sunday brings you home — in heart or truly. Romance has a beautiful chance Mon./Tues. (If an old flame appears, grab him/her.) Good creative interval, too. Tackle chores Wed./Thurs. Eat, dress sensibly. Be careful Wed. — lots of barriers — but proceed during a co-operative Thursday. Relationships, relocation, opportunities, public appearances, agreements and arguments — these themes fill Fri./Sat. Good luck here, good progress, but not in employment, health or chores.

capricorn icon  CAPRICORN:  Dec. 22-Jan. 20

Lie low for two more weeks, Cap. Rest, contemplate, avoid competitive situations (though they’re good if you’re an athlete). Reserve next week for planning, gov’t or managerial liaising. Plans, agreements made this week would fall apart later. Your money/income situation looks great, until about Jan. 5. For over a month, you’ve had to deal with impulse in finances, investments, and you’ve been on fire sexually. That doesn’t end now, but it does end Jan. 6, and until then, the impulse and the passion fire tend to slough off — accept this. (They’ll return, next spring.) Remember, start no new relationships, projects nor major purchases before Dec. 16. Sunday’s for errands, calls, paperwork and short trips. All’s okay. Your home and security are highlighted Mon./Tues. —and blessed. Everything around home and family “works” and pleases! Romantic notions and creative juices flow Wed./Thurs., but Wed. is difficult so save your sweet words for Thursday. Tackle chores Fri./Sat. — Again, good aspects, so plunge in! However, avoid idle talk, restless driving.

Aquarius icon  AQUARIUS:  Jan. 21-Feb. 18

Two more weeks of inexplicable happiness, Aquarius! Your popularity, optimism, flirty-ness, social involvements and entertainment venues buoy your heart until Dec. 21. Others have been assertive, even aggressive — wanting either you, or a fight with you — since early November. They’re still there, but they’ve lost some inner fortitude, their “core” has slackened, gone a bit limp (until Jan. 6). If this describes a (recent?) love affair, give the other person some slack. He/she will return “on fire” April to June. (These months could bring the best romance in a decade or more.) An old flame could appear now or next week (or did, recently). So might a former hope, now to be fulfilled. Your own body and personality radiate beauty now. Chase $, buy/sell Sunday. Errands, calls, texts, mail, paperwork and short trips fill Mon./Tues. — in a fortunate way, so make contact (esp. with a loved one). The universe nudges you toward home, family, nature, security, Wed./Thurs. Relax, hug the kids, etc. — but DON’T start renovations, decorating, etc. (Read “ALL SIGNS” above in the Preamble.) Wednesday’s difficult, Thursday’s fine. Romance, in capital letters, Fri./Sat. Or, creative, inventive, risky, pleasurable or beauty-seeking activities. The only 2 things that can interfere: 1) money or being possessive, and 2) the general atmosphere of delay that lies over this winter like a fog…(But delays end, and new dawns come.)

Pisces icon  PISCES:  Feb. 19-March 20

Two more weeks of ambition’s pressures, Pisces. Work hard, but beware of starting any new projects (or relationships or major purchases) at work or elsewhere. Instead, protect ongoing situations, foresee supply shortages, missing employees, etc. You might be put in a former career role, temporarily. You’ve worked intensely for the past 5 weeks; this doesn’t change now to January, but it does slow down somewhat due to outside factors. Your relations with gov’t, management, institutions and advisors will be productive and pleasing now to Jan. 2. Your energy and charisma are high Sunday — take advantage, get out, see and be seen, give reluctant projects a push. Collect $, buy/sell, hug a “friend with benefits” or read and learn Mon./Tues. — a good, fortunate interval. Wed./Thurs. bring errands, swift chores, communications and paperwork. Proceed with some caution, as glitches exist Wed. — Thursday’s fine. Fri./Sat. Are for home, family, nature, security. You are in one of the luckiest years of your life for real estate, home, kids, furniture, etc. — but wait until February onward to act on this.

THE END.

AFTERAMBLE:

Elizabeth the First is often considered England’s greatest queen. She ruled from 1559 to 1603 — 43 years. Under her, England became the world’s strongest naval power (defeating the Spanish Armada) colonized a third of the world, and became a premier literary nation (Shakespeare, et al). Liz was often called the “Virgin Queen.” The state of Virginia in the U.S. is named after her. Guess what sign she was? Virgo (the sign, paradoxically, of virginity, and of harvest).

Before she was crowned queen, Elizabeth asked the court astrologer, John Dee, to pick the time and day she should be coronated. Looks like he did a good job.

Timing is everything in astrology. If two people of perfect compatibility first meet under a badf aspect, they will not succeed as a couple. Something similar to this occurred with Diana (Cancer Sun) and Charles (Scorpio Sun) — their sun signs pointed to basic and deep harmony and love. But as I wrote at the time, their wedding date held bad aspects, and it would not be a happy/good marriage. That’s what happened.

If the unconscious mind has a huge store of knowledge, and can see and judge and predict events and conditions; and if the conscious mind excels with logic and a governing attitude, with order and emotions and ambition: If this is so, would it not be to our advantage to bring both these consciousnesses into the same area so they could freely associate?

The result would be a combination of the two working together in harmony. This might signal a new evolvement in humankind, one not seen for a few millennia at least.

The only question is: how do we make the subconscious and conscious minds fully aware of each other, not in an abstract or intellectual sense but minute by minute, moment by moment, as we live and work, and plan and grow. As possessors of our conscious mind, it falls to us to seek the subconscious. But we must do it in a more effective way. I don’t know what that way is. I hope that once we do begin to tread on the soil of the subconscious, it will rise up to greet us, to embrace us. I guess that’s the ultimate in self love, hey?

But think of the immense development that would be. It would spark an advance in man’s intelligence in a few short years/decades, an advance as wide, a step as big, as the entire hike from Proto humans to modern man.

***

I have always had trouble understanding the word irony. If you ask me what it meant, I couldn’t tell you; if you asked me to give an example of it, I would be even more lost.

It just occurred to me that perhaps my whole life and existence is so ironic that I can’t see irony in anything. It’s like you can’t see the air you breathe.

But, it does seem rather ironic to me that up to 8 or 10 Los Angeles policeman — I think they were all white — beat a black man almost to death. It was filmed with high-quality film. Only four officers were charged. Every single one was exonerated and found not guilty by the all-white Los Angeles jury. This precipitated the famous  riots.

Three decades later and across the country in Minneapolis, a white cop arrested a black, stoned drug abuser who just tried to cash a counterfeit bill. The perp kept fighting back, refusing to cooperate via a mixture of defiance, pleading, refusal to move his body, constant wheedling and complaining, denying and refusing instructions. At one point, one or two additional officers came in to help, but mostly to observe. During one struggle with the perp, the cop was kneeling on his neck or shoulders to keep him immobilized  on the street. He kept complaining that he couldn’t breathe, but the very fact that he repeated this complaint nonstop showed that he was breathing. I’m not sure at what point he died, or they recognized that he died and I don’t know if it was there at the scene or in an ambulance afterwards. I’m not clear on any of those details, except that I know Floyd died. This time, the court found the arresting cop (Chauvin) guilty of some kind of murder and sentenced him basically to life. This was despite the fact that medical experts testified in the defence‘s favour, stating that the cop did not cause the death, that the drugs in the perp had caused his heart to go into shock or something like that. And despite testimony from the two other police who were there, that he had done nothing wrong, (but who are also charged, I think). And despite further testimony that showed he had acted exactly like the police manual instructed. Despite all this, he  was sentenced to  life.

This is merely one instance of American judges and courtrooms being biased and corrupt — and cowards. They reflect, not justice, but the politics and popular pressures of the day.

(You do remember that I predicted, 40 years ago, that judges, lawyers, courts, universities, professors, publishing, international commerce, etc. would be “immoral,” foul and foolish — for 247 years.  207 years more to go.)

***

When I was a kid, Beijing, China’s capital, was spelled Peking. China is a Libra nation. P is a Libra letter. B (Beijing) is a Taurus letter. Taurus is Libra’s 8th house, signifying deep changes for a Libra. Since changing from Peking to Beijing, China has changed deeply and vastly. The 8th is also the place of surgery, finances, pregnancy, birth and death. China has created the second largest, if not by now the largest, military on earth. The 8th also brings unexpected, deep changes, such as the recent collapse of the Chinese property market.

Millions know about me; no one knows me.

This whole American political “elites versus deplorables” phenomena is actually a natural divide and a geographical inevitability. The elite, so-called, congregate along the rocky, poor-soiled coast lines, whereas the deplorables fill the flat fertile interior. The interior is food and family; the exterior/coastal is vision and idea. As we’ve seen, vision and idea can go to extremes in any direction. Vision and idea can be a blessing to humanity, but are also starting points for fanaticism, dictatorship, oppression, violence, and trampling of human rights in the name/service of a better human. Sounds suspiciously like nazi zealotry.

This is why I think the “movement” among the Trump team to relocate the FBI headquarters, and the offices of other large, presently corrupt agencies (FEMA, HHS, NIH, etc.) to mid-western places like Oklahoma and Missouri, is a good idea, one that could begin to re-integrate schizoid America.
