ASTRAL REFLECTIONS

	Okay, okay! I yield to you SAGITTARIANS - here's yet another run-down of the Uranus-Pluto effect on you, 1995 through 2008.
	At first (1995-2002) Pluto worked alone, steadily pressing you to change, pressing you sometimes into places of solitude, removing relationships, reforming them, inducing you to withdraw from superficial people and situations. You felt a growing dissatisfaction, and might not have known its cause. If Pluto has a purpose during these 13 or 14 years, it is to make you more aware of the spiritual and irrational in life. Pluto wants you to realize that emotion is a higher order than intellect, that spirit roams vastly further than religion, that a lot of things move through our lives that cannot be contained in reason nor even in observation. Pluto wants to, and ultimately will, enlighten you - but about things that you never suspected you wanted to know. Pluto's main teaching is this: that destiny does exist, and the source of destiny is our own unconscious. (Our subconscious is an intermediate level that aids us in groping toward the unconscious.) 
	Along the way, Pluto wants to make you more charitable, merciful, compassionate and empathic toward others. You're privileged in one sense - only Sagittarians born between about 1920 to 1990 will experience this influence with any mature consciousness. Sagittarians born during the entire century ahead will not even embark on the "Pluto journey" you're experiencing.
	Uranus works on you also, from early 2003 to early 2011. Uranus wants to change your domestic situation, your home, property, family and security. In this, he aids Pluto, for Pluto wants to transform your entire set of beliefs - and what better time to change someone's belief and faith than when his foundations have been torn away? In effect, Pluto wants to press you into change, and Uranus makes sure you have no place to hide. That's why some Sagittarians (and Pisceans and Geminis and Virgos) email me to complain, "I have no luck_no luck whatsoever anymore."
	But it's not luck you should be looking for - look for transformation - that's where the real gold lies! (And the luck will return, 2008 onward!)
	I outlined what the years 2005 to 2008 hold for you in last week's preamble. But I didn't mention that you are unique among the four signs that are affected by Pluto this decade - for you alone among them will be changed at a soul level, you alone will be able to tell the world in the 20 years ahead - whether by writing a best seller or talking to a good friend - what Pluto taught you. And you'll be glad. You'll be more whole. You'll be wise and gratified. You'll be glad you took Pluto's journey!

Aries   March 21-April 19
The month ahead features money, buying/selling, a possible pay raise, important purchases, etc. Get yourself a budget, to stop recent waste. Yes, home life is hard, boring, or both - but that ends in July. Meanwhile, get repairs done, meet the rent/mortgage, and dream of a future relocation! You'll be very busy in the weeks ahead, handling new details, paperwork, mail, calls, running errands, perhaps taking a short trip. Romance, pleasure and a winning streak bless you Sunday/Monday! But get to work mid-week -- cautiously. Love's possible Friday, not Saturday.

Taurus   April 20-May 20
Your period of rest and low charisma ends Tuesday - now you enter a month of high energy, high spirits, and effectiveness! Venus in your sign will make you smooth and charming; you'll attract the opposite sex. Higher-ups will remain testy and impatient through April, so don't get too high-spirited at work; remain diplomatic. You will still be handling some health, secret, institutional or government-related matter (taxes?) through mid-May. May might bring a tempting interlude with a social contact. Be restful Sunday/Monday. Romance, pleasure, successful gambles come Tuesday/Wednesday! Work succeeds Friday. 

Gemini   May 21-June 20
Communicate and travel Sunday/Monday. Get your office organized and put the finishing touches on letters, emails, proposals, reports - especially the ones that 1) promise a potential happy future development, and 2) involve someone's permission/approval, in love (yes, woo someone!) or business. On Tuesday, you enter a month of quietude, low energy, contemplation and recuperation. Protect your health - dress, eat and sleep sensibly. Stay out of the limelight; avoid competitive situations. You'll be fine, and your mind will be filling with great ideas and plans for your career or other ambitions.

Cancer   June 21-July 22
Chase money or make important purchases Sunday/Monday - ask for more pay, raise your client rates, sell more, etc. Avoid acting from Sunday eve to 9 a.m. (PDT) Monday. A month of popularity, social joys, flirtations, optimism, bright new horizons and wish fulfillment begins Tuesday! Midweek starts off this superb month with a flurry of calls, visits, trips and errands. Through 2008, your communications need revision: see what doesn't work, and change it. You're still dealing with a minor career matter until mid-May. Avoid legal hassles all May, into June.

Leo   July 23-Aug. 22
A contemplative, mellow, wandering phase yields now to the haste and pressures of your ambitions. Buckle down, and get going on your campaign to impress higher-ups, parents and VIPs! A secret ally (who hovers around in the background these years) could help you - might supply information, financial aid, perhaps some clout in high places. You could be nudged into signing a contract with such a figure in May/June. The same period might tempt you into a sexual liaison, or into an impulsive investment - be careful! Your charisma, energy soar Sunday/Monday!

Virgo   Aug. 23-Sept. 22
You enter a month of mellow wisdom, gentle love and tolerance mixed with fractious, intensified relationships. Mysteries yield to understanding, sex leads to love, finances/investments flow to the document stage. You might travel afar. You ARE going to be hotly attracted to someone in May/June - this could begin with stunning suddenness in mid-May. Realize that anger could mask attraction! In business, you could be eager, even determined, to sign a contract about funding - be diplomatic and friendly! Rest Sunday/Monday. Your energy soars Tuesday/Wednesday - start projects, make adjustments, ask favors!

Libra   Sept. 23-Oct. 22
In the weeks ahead, recent exciting meetings and opportunities will develop into deeper commitments, or end. (Ending won't necessarily be bad, as you picked up some unworkable situations/proposals March 19 to April 11.) An emotional attraction becomes intimate, sexual; or a business opportunity leads to funding; or a recent "new horizon" becomes a new lifestyle plan. You commit to a deep joining, or you break away. Lust, subconscious desires, fate, secrets, powerful yet only half-sensed forces, investments, debt, research, investigations, figure prominently. You'll be working very hard in May! 

Scorpio   Oct. 23-Nov. 21
Finish up a work or career-related matter Sunday/Monday. Clear your calendar, because new horizons, opportunities and relationships are going to arrive in the two months ahead - make room in your life for the new, fresh and unexpected! This theme begins Tuesday/Wednesday, when your optimism and popularity rise, friends are met, and flirtations are possible! A minor wish could come true. Now through June (and really, through October) others will have the essential power - so be diplomatic, gracious, and willing to "join 'em." A family "argument" will end soon.

Sagittarius   Nov. 22-Dec. 21
You might have some misgivings about a love, a truth, a philosophy, a person, trip, school, publishing project or legal matter Sunday/Monday, but if you go beyond your doubts you'll find real success, especially Monday. A month of work and health concerns starts Tuesday. Co-workers will be very pleasant. Tuesday/Wednesday emphasize your ambitions and relations with higher-ups. Your hopes rise Thursday afternoon to Saturday - they'll come true, if they aren't too big. Friday's best - a flirtation, future goal or social contact brings elation, and a feeling of spiritual peace. 

Capricorn   Dec. 22-Jan. 19
You get a nice little chance to establish something secure, in property, family, investments or similar areas Sunday/Monday. If you're not interested in practical results, follow the path of mystery. A month of pleasure, romance, creativity and "winning gambles" starts Tuesday. Until April 30, money could spurt at you from a variety of "lucky" sources - but easy come, easy go. Legal, travel, media, educational and philosophical themes fill mid-week. Your ambitions are triggered anew Thursday afternoon to Saturday. As usual this year and last, a "partner" doesn't go along. 

Aquarius   Jan. 20-Feb. 18
Your determination continues to be intense - it might even create some opposition Mon day morning. Sunday and Monday bring relationship excitement and opportunities, successful ones - but they might be "fading stars" rather than fresh, strong opportunities. You decide. Life's mysteries float up where you can see them Tuesday/Wednesday. Lust, large finances, research, lifestyle changes and health concerns need care; realize the world is changing - are your methods and knowledge keeping up? Wisdom, love, far travel arise late Thursday to Saturday - these meet much help, and only one barrier: your duties.

Pisces   Feb. 19-March 20
The few weeks ahead will feature paperwork, details, many short trips or errands, communications, calls and visits. Follow your curiosity - it could lead you somewhere interesting! Continue to follow a string of facts, conversations or leads to a money goal, now through mid-May. If you're young and footloose, a friendly romance could arise. You're less predictable these years (2003 - 2010) - in the month ahead, this "maverick tendency" will become almost explosive. If your know car (or your house wiring) is unsafe, have it fixed before early May. Valuable secrets Friday!
