ASTRAL REFLECTIONS

	This is a major week for everyone. After four months of delay we're all impatient, and things get destructive. But next week starts new growth - be gentle, hopeful!  
	I made some mistakes in that first week of Dow (DJIA) forecasts. But my daily "up or down" predictions for the second week (May 16-20) were 100 per cent accurate - 5 right for 5 days, and right on the overall weekly movement. That will be rare, though!
	TAURUS, you went through a long period of stress, change and frustration between 1984 and 2003. 1984 to '95 brought relationship upheavals - many Taureans married, many divorced, and many relocated, leaving familiar friends and surroundings. You found others uniquely attractive yet ultimately uncontrollable. Life and people seemed determined to oppose you. Many of you fought this trend, then became a little withdrawn as you sensed life's strength was bigger than your own. 
	In 1996, you began a long period (not over yet - it lasts through 2008) of mystery and some puzzlement. The deeper sides of relationships have surfaced to snag your fascination. You like plain, simple, happy, sunny, pleasurable sex, but sex has become all wound up with power and position, mystery and lifestyle changes. Similarly, you like simple money situations: you earn a lot, and you spend a lot (on all the best things, of course - fine food, fine wine, good music, etc.). But the present period (1996-2008) has introduced you powerfully to the deeper side of money: debts, mortgages, investments, money connected to growth and power - and sometimes, to destructiveness. You've learned to sense the hidden forces of life; you're alert now to hidden motives, secrets. You've become a detective as a result of the past 20 years, but you must avoid becoming suspicious or cynical. The biggest loss you can suffer is the loss of your simple, happy side. This 1996-2008 phase is great for finding a sexually compatible mate (though not a romantic or smoothly social one), for being brave and following exactly what you do want in life, for changing your life or lifestyle to a truer, brighter goal. This period also promotes research, occult searches, and the building of a business or financial "castle."
	You also experienced repeated career stresses, from 1996 to 2003. That time put the pressure on you to perform. Some of you outdid yourselves and shot up the ladder of success. Others were jolted from one job crisis - or job - to another. Either way, your nerves were tested! But the stress is gone now. Next week: future years.

Aries   March 21-April 19
The accent's on paperwork, details, casual friends, siblings and short trips. Learning, thinking, conversing are more important than big new starts (especially in finances). This is a powerful week, when many things will change for many people. Major dislocating events or pressures might involve the government, institutions, red tape, warehousing, management and delegation of tasks, or spiritual or charitable zones - and the law, education or media. (Paid your taxes?) Major good stuff involves a great communication with a relationship or toward an opportunity at a distance. Make no enemies!

Taurus   April 20-May 20
Chase money in all its forms. Buy and sell. But be cautious. DON'T buy computers, machinery, etc. before Friday. Take advantage of collapses rather than be part of them. E.g., buy beaten-down stocks. Don't mix friends and money (nor friends and sex), particularly Tuesday and Thursday. Work goes well, and you enjoy the company of your co-workers. Beware a friend who isn't; if you feel uneasy, your instincts are probably accurate. You'll be happy, sociable, flirty Sunday-Tuesday. Weariness sets in Tuesday eve to Thursday. Your energy, charisma return Friday/Saturday!

Gemini   May 21-June 20
This week brings some luck in romance, pleasure, child-raising and creativity, and tough challenges in career and relationships. Your energy and effectiveness are high. You can meet all tests, even turn them into successes. DON'T be cruel - and accept no one's cruelty, especially Thursday to Saturday. (This might arise in your career zone or in court.) Let an outraged or determined partner, associate or advisor react against a challenger or unfair higher-up. You could be tapped for a better career position utilizing your ability to write, speak or travel!

Cancer   June 21-July 22
Lie low, rest, contemplate and plan. Contact government agencies, institutions, shut-ins, faithful friends and allies. Be charitable, but skeptical. An unsavory type, disguised as someone who needs help, could edge his/her way into your life this week. DON'T launch legal, media, publishing, religious, international, wedding, cultural, far-travel nor big educational projects/actions (at least, not before Friday). Matters connected to your home work well - repairs (except electrical repairs), family gatherings or problem solving. It's also a good time to "cocoon" - but don't make it permanent, and don't buy real estate.

Leo   July 23-Aug. 22
You're upbeat and hopeful this week! Expect flirtations, social delights and popularity. But keep a wary eye on the areas of investment, debt, power politics, research, investigation, police work, health, divorce settlements and sexual involvements. Any of these could be blasted by events or more particularly by your own overly romantic or "gambling" mood. Take care, Leo! If you have to choose between a gamble and an investment, or between clean-hearted romance and a sexual temptation, choose the gamble and the romance. Luck aids your travel, communications projects early week. 

Virgo   Aug. 23-Sept. 22
A major disagreement could occur with a volatile competitor, spouse, partner, contractual associate, etc. Someone might try to bully you. It probably involves career, status, property, commodities, security, children/family, retirement, or eating habits. Though it flares suddenly, it's has been brewing for a long time. In determining your response, realize no one will change your security, property, children, or family except you. But they might change your career! Don't start big new projects. You might solve everything by Saturday. Early week (Sunday-Wednesday) income matters go well. Your reputation "holds up!" 

Libra   Sept. 23-Oct. 22
You receive luck in legal, educational, cultural, far travel, publishing and related areas, especially Sunday to Wednesday. But a major problem could brew in work, health, machinery or childcare zones all week, perhaps due to a breakdown in communications, short travel, paperwork or casual relationships. E.g., your car putzes, so you miss work; or a child doesn't understand your instructions and breaks a piece of machinery. Take care - best of all, stay out of those work, machinery, etc. areas. Practice safety. DON'T buy a computer, etc. Spouse needs gentleness.

Scorpio   Oct. 23-Nov. 21
You face a serious choice this week, between a safe paycheck or a "safe" intimate relationship on one hand, and a financial gamble, heart-pounding romance or pleasurable adventure on the other. For now, pick the paycheck, the safe intimacy, for these are likely to "overwhelm" or outlast those riskier ventures. Don't let this choice become cruel - choose early and gently. (You might not see the choice, only a "problem.") Practice safety around tools, machines. Expect both success and disruption in investments, security actions, lifestyle changes, intimacy and investigations. Be aware!

Sagittarius   Nov. 22-Dec. 21
You could get into a knock-down fight this week, or you could have fun and delight with friends. The fights - or struggles, hard choices, challenging events - will occur if you're focused on security (real estate, family, mother nature, retirement, ending a love relationship). If you're more interested in peace and concord, new horizons and happiness, you could make a new friend or reaffirm spousal love. (But a romance started now would be very rocky.) DON'T buy appliances. DO rearrange spousal duties. Your luck's highest late Sunday and early Wednesday.

Capricorn   Dec. 22-Jan. 19
The main accent's on work, health and caring for dependents, Cap. Take care in this zone - be safe around machinery, drive carefully, and don't buy computers, cars, etc. before Friday. An uncomfortable situation or series of events could expose things you'd prefer to stay hidden. Or you could have trouble communicating with government agencies, institutions or allies - or your own head office. Think twice before you sign any papers, or send emails or paperwork, especially to these "locations." Good news could come about your career! Pleasures fill Friday/Saturday. 

Aquarius   Jan. 20-Feb. 18
Romance, pleasure, beauty, charming kids, vacation, creative urges, speculation, risk for reward - these spur delight! But sudden money realities (or someone's jealousy) put a crimp in your urges. Or the person you're chasing is capricious. At the same time, a social connection/function could aid romance and pleasure, beauty, etc. Or a friend becomes a lover. All this confusion is enough. But in addition, your dreams, goals and social urges are also out of synch with money realities. So goals fight money and money fights love - I'm confused. Expect surprises!

Pisces   Feb. 19-March 20
Pressures come at you from opposite directions: home and career (or community status). But if there's a storm out there, it's likely you who stirred it up in recent weeks. You're more determined, unpredictable, and assertive than usual - and your spouse or business partner is frayed to a fine fettle by subtle pressures. Watch for changes imposed by higher-ups, and rebellion from underlings at your "pronouncements." You might feel like quitting a job - don't, yet. Investments, sexual intimacy, research and lifestyle changes get a smooth boost. Next weeks' better!
