	Many readers have enquired about the "$700 for 17 air flights anywhere in Canada" package. Well, the deal was from Air Canada, and you could only fly every Tuesday and Saturday from January 9 to March 6. The sale was closed out in early January. You could try phoning Air Canada to rally support for another such deal - though I suspect it was specifically timed for the winter months, on the assumption that very few people want to fly to Inuvik, Whitehorse, Ottawa or other glitteringly cold places in the winter. But I know how you feel - I'm always reading about great deals in the media that are gone (or never existed) by the time it's made public. If you're seeking cheap flights, I'd advise you to avoid such sites as Expedia, and instead sign yourself onto airline websites directly, so the airlines send you emails about their specials. Most of the specials are bogus, but every once in a while a real gem comes through_.
	Some readers have reported difficulty in telling how many days from the Full or New Moon they were born. Okay, here's how: when you get on a website that shows the Moon's phases, just go to the New or Full Moon BEFORE your day, month and year of birth. Note the date of the phase (Full or New) then count the days to your birth date. For example, if you were born January 16, 1975, and you find the Full Moon occurred January 12, then you were born 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 = the 5th day from the Full Moon. (See the January 7 column for the meanings of the various days.)_
	Last January (06) I wrote that the price of oil would fall steeply. Well, it's down from $ 70 to $ 50 as I write this, though a portion of the fall occurred in early 2007. The question becomes: will oil continue to fall in 07? I think so, although all the factors cited in the past for oil's rise are still in place - and growing. China is still thirsty, and now India's becoming a big oil user. Nigeria's still in "rebel trouble," and the geopolitical picture is, if anything, more threatening (and will get worse) now through 2008. To top it off, the world economy is expanding, despite forecasters fears. So the present fall is psychological, or "technical." (It's an odd feature of financial markets that "technical" actually means "emotional." But maybe that's how financial types are.) I think oil will get cheaper to a point, and then rise. But that rise could be out in late 2007 or 2008. Over the past 100 years (adjusted for inflation) the price of oil has averaged $ 18 U.S. a barrel, not the $ 50 of present times. As recently as 5 years ago, despite 9/11, oil was trading at $12 a barrel. When I look at that, and think of buying Canadian oil sands stocks, my stomach knits little knots of apprehension_.

Gemini   May 21-June 20
Love informs everything. Your view is broad and distant, your understanding increases. Higher learning, law, religion, philosophy, advertising, publishing, broadcast media, writing, teaching, cultural rituals and far travel draw you now, in lucky ways. If you're single and in love, sit down and talk marriage. Physical lust intensifies, into late February. Before March 8, don't be impulsive with finances or investments; act after careful deliberation. You're forming "secret hopes" but they will need "open action" to succeed. Your charisma soars Sunday/Monday. Ignore an early setback. Buy Monday/Tuesday. Travel Thursday/Friday. 

Cancer   June 21-July 22
The emphasis lies on mystery, investigation, lifestyle changes, and consequential action in financial, sexual, and health arenas. Opportunities arise that synchronize with this trend, through late February. For example, someone keeps "appearing" and making you feel sexy - and/or a business/career opportunity/situation arises. Realize that conditions are volatile and others are impatient, even temperamental - act diplomatically and quickly, once you've decided what to do. A co-operative stance is essential. Start early on these, as mid-February will bring delays and mistakes. You'll learn things during this benevolent week. Money luck Thursday!

Leo   July 23-Aug. 22
Relationships assume center stage. You could fall in love. You'll attract admiring glances Wednesday night through Saturday morning. If you're married, your spouse grows vigorous, humorous and demanding - surrender! (His/her dreams could take you to lucky places, pleasures, and winnings.) Some Leos become single parents now - believe it or not, this ensures a loving, pleasurable future. Business relationships also bring luck and opportunity - if you don't demand to be the leader. Hard work is slated, through February. Start tasks early - mid-February will bring three weeks of delays and mistakes.

Virgo   Aug. 23-Sept. 22
Tackle work (and any health concerns) in a full, broad manner. Mid-February will start a three-week slow-down, so begin any projects before then, get them well underway. Your romantic and creative courage grows powerfully now through February. You could be attracted to a verboten person (already married, etc.) or situation, so keep things honest and above-board. Again, with creative, teaching, speculative, pleasure, vacation and sports projects - all favored now - begin well before mid-February, or "set things up" for March 8 onward. You're hopeful, happy Monday-Wednesday, but retreat, rest Thursday/Friday. 

Libra   Sept. 23-Oct. 22
Romance, creative surges, pleasure, beauty, hope and love, teaching and artistic success - these flow over you. Oddly, your ability to get along with someone important (to you, not to the world) sinks to a somewhat fractured, friction-prone level through February. In fact, your present winning streak could be the result of breaking from a restrictive person or situation. If you're happily married, avoid arguments, and turn your energy to home improvements, gardening, etc. Start any projects now, as mid-February will bring delays and mistakes. Popularity, happiness visit you Thursday/Friday! 

Scorpio   Oct. 23-Nov. 21
Pay attention to domestic matters, real estate, kids, home, retirement, nature, gardening, soul, stomach and security (even in business - e.g., establish your sales territory, secure your position). Nurturing your roots is more important than expanding your top end now. A paperwork, travel, communications, sibling-related or "office" project might have started recently or is looming before March - if you haven't started it yet, hurry, as mid-February will bring three weeks of delays and mistakes. A gentle person will compliment you soon - he/she might have an "intense relationship" in mind.

Sagittarius   Nov. 22-Dec. 21
Travel, communications, mail, distribution, office systems, telephony, casual friendships, sibling relations, details, reports and news media are emphasized, and favor you. Get things done, especially in these areas, because mid-February will bring a slowdown and will infect any new ventures (begun February 14-March 7) with inherent flaws.
