ASTRAL REFLECTIONS

	All times/dates are Pacific Daylight Time.
	Last week, I briefly mentioned the trends that loom for the U.S.A. from 2008 through 2022. This period will "repeat" (though in vastly and complexly different ways) the opposition the colonists faced in 1776. That time, of course, brought revolution and war.  The "exact" return of this opposition condition will come in 2022, but events will start leaning that way as early as January 2008.  
	First, the news is not dire. The "Pluto return" (which is what I'm basing this on) shows the U.S. with friends - enemies turn to friends, so the nation is more partnered than set upon. This pattern of friendliness repeats in the next return 250 years later, hinting that America will last at least another 500 years, at least as far as its competition with other nations goes.
Huge duality marks the upcoming 2008-to-2268 period, which could mean that the people and politicians are "split" - a nation divided - about how to deal with threats from without, economic and military. Many citizens will work secretly against the government, and feel deeply opposed or alienated. The secret services - CIA, NSA, etc. - will thrive.
The nation will be lucky, expansive, ambitious and sympathetic. Big new sources of energy (oil or gas) will be discovered. A big renaissance should occur in the arts. Children will be feted and honored, and education - neglected in recent decades - will assume importance again
There will be either two or four military strikes on "home soil" - separated by (probably) 13 years. The first one might come about 2028. 
The U.S. might fight a war on home soil. Hawaii? For the next 250 years, the U.S. will rule the seas. Its might will rise to approximately 2042, then plateau. Nations beginning with "K" will hurt the U.S. - nations beginning with "B" or "I" will be allies.  
For some reason, two qualities which have always been somewhat an Achilles heel for the U.S., will tend to dissolve: the nation's unpredictability, and its impulsive quickness to engage in swift little wars - in general, its recklessness.
There will be much difficulty in telling exactly who the enemy is, and its nature. There will actually be two enemies, similar but not together. They will be awkward, impoverished, unlucky, angry and not shy. So, it looks like the middle eastern or the terrorist factor does not end. There is a possibility the U.S. will "absorb" the terrorists, "marry them," but if not, the "war on terror" doesn't end, not for centuries.

Aries   March 21-April 19
You start this week in fine form - your energy, charisma, effectiveness and sense of timing are great - charge ahead and accomplish mid-day Sunday to Tuesday morning! Take care with money - don't mix it with pleasure, beauty or love Wednesday through May 9. Even so, your assets or net worth will rise this week due to your legal connection to someone else's riches. Thursday/Friday bring travel, communications, paperwork - and begin a month of money (be cautious!) earnings, buying/selling, possessions and mild sexual attractions. New, far home, Saturday? Or just home.

Taurus   April 20-May 20
Lie low, pamper your health, contemplate and retreat from crowds. You're loved - let that be enough for now. Do stir to tidy the mess, get your desk and home in order - because Friday will start a month of startling change, soaring energy, higher charisma, effectiveness and accomplishment (especially in financial - earnings and investment - sensual, social and communications areas). But for now, rest so you'll be ready for that time. Sunday/Monday facilitate all red tape, governmental, administrative, hospital and spiritual involvements - visit an advisor. Caution Wednesday: home needs extra cheer.

Gemini   May 21-June 20
Life's bright - popularity, happiness, and visions of the future reach a peak Sunday to Tuesday morning. A flirtation has "future" written all over it! You could (luckily) relocate in the months to come, form a new partnership, sign a profitable contract, or meet fame. Destiny is operating well in all these areas. But slow down Tuesday/Wednesday through late May: not communicating, not traveling, keeps you from suffocating or unlucky circumstances. Your energy and charisma flare briefly Thursday/Friday: approach another, seek, say, impress, propose! Money and love bless you Saturday!

Cancer   June 21-July 22
Continue to strive for ambitious goals, career advancement, higher prestige and community status - your efforts will meet great luck Sunday to Tuesday dawn! ("Destiny" is on your side in this all week.) But slow down, be cautious in finances and purchases Tuesday/Wednesday - don't mix money and friends. You'll be happy these two days, though, as you realize the future holds bright skies! Enjoy flirtations and group affairs without becoming entangled. Go deep (into rest, if nothing else) Thursday to Saturday - solve mysteries, charm civil servants, and tackle work/health puzzles.

Leo   July 23-Aug. 22
Your mellow mood continues - at least until Friday/Saturday, when a month of ambition, prestige, and pressure starts. Before this, destiny lends a hand in romance, creativity, speculation, teaching children and the pursuit of pleasure. Sunday to Tuesday dawn's attractive person could be life-mate material! For some of you, romance is soaring. For others, it's too early - you first need to end untenable situations and attitudes in love. You're not out of luck yet - love awaits you in 2007 and 09 through 11. Many Leos will marry 2011 to 2019.

Virgo   Aug. 23-Sept. 22
Changes, mysteries, financial decisions and intimate commitments soar with luck Sunday to Tuesday morning - destiny's on your side, too, right into mid-week. A new home, new intimacy, new life - these are possible! By Friday, you'll enter a month of wisdom, mellowness, intellectual pursuits, far travel, higher learning, law, cultural events and love. (These matters will need a cautious approach April 18 through May 9, as they will tend to conflict with your - perhaps secret - pleasure drives. E.g., the law says one thing, your heart - or lust - another. Be cautious.) 

Libra   Set. 23-Oct. 22
Your dealings with others soar with luck and new prospects/horizons Sunday to Tuesday dawn. In marriage, contracts, love, negotiations, dealings with the public, relocation, new projects could dawn, ongoing ventures get a lucky boost. Destiny aids you (right into Thursday) in the form of unexpected communications, or your own communications get through, hit the mark. So phone, write or travel. Be very wary of commitments (especially sexual or financial ones) late Tuesday into Wednesday, and Friday to May 9. Thursday to Saturday bring love, travel, culture, learning or law.

Scorpio   Oct. 23-Nov. 21
Tackle work Sunday to Tuesday dawn - you'll accomplish gobs, and achieve a luckier result than you expected! (There's money hidden in that work, too. Seek more! All week, destiny opens money doors for you, especially Sunday/Monday, and Thursday to Saturday. Seek them, knock!) Relationships need care and attention Tuesday, caution Wednesday (and Friday through May 9, when new relationships will tend to run aground on the rocks of practicality and distance - emotional and spatial distance). Mysteries, sexual urges, investments reward you Thursday to Saturday - sex doesn't equal partnership, though!

Sagittarius   Nov. 22-Dec. 21
Romance, creativity, speculation, beauty, pleasure pursuits, sports, and teaching children - luck blesses you in these Sunday to Tuesday morning! Destiny will lend a helpful hand here, right into Thursday. (You might begin to suspect that destiny is really your deepest, usually unconscious self saying "yea" or "nay" - you'd be right.) Then Thursday/Friday bring exciting meetings and prospects, and Saturday brings "heightened urges" (though secret ones, unless you speak up). Exciting week! Exercise caution with ethics, morality and finances Wednesday to May 9. Friday begins a month of work/health concerns.

Capricorn   Dec. 22-Jan. 19
Home, property, family, security, therapy, roots, gardening/agri, soul and diet matters succeed splendidly Sunday to Tuesday dawn. Take advantage. You can reach the depths of what life means to you, also, as destiny and your unconscious bring you to usually unseen perspectives, new hunches and inspirations (right into Thursday, with echoing thoughts, understandings into Saturday) - a revelatory week! Or, you can spend the same influence on retirement planning, kids, family affections, even on finding a vacation spa. But take care with romance (and kids, and gambles) Wednesday - disappointment lurks. 

Aquarius   Jan. 20-Feb. 18
Talk, travel, writing, details, errands and paperwork - these proceed successfully Sunday (don't start too early) to Tuesday morning. A favorable destiny accompanies you - perhaps you'll meet a good new friend, or stumble on a great new group, while performing those errands and "talk chores." Be cautious with relationships, partnerships, money, gossip, secrets and home matters Wednesday - disappointment prowls the corridors. Romantic feelings and notions surge Thursday/Friday, even Saturday - you could meet an intriguing stranger! Friday starts a month of domestic concerns - be careful with these (and relationships) through May 9.

Pisces   Feb. 19-March 20 
Your monetary luck soars Sunday noon to Tuesday dawn - chase dollars, buy, sell, seek a pay raise, find lucrative clients. Destiny favors your prestige and career until Thursday, but be cautious on the work scene Wednesday (and Friday through May 9) - don't gossip, hold unnecessary meetings, or try to impress people with your communication or social skills. Easy does it. Tackle home, garden, retirement, kid-oriented or "soul" concerns Thursday/Friday. (And a bit Saturday - while you're out seeking the latest garden plants or door repairs, you could run into romance!)
