ASTRAL REFLECTIONS

	My gosh, I didn't know I had so many Ontario readers! Yes, Maureen and I will be moving to a "half-year" place there by spring of 2008, to spend six months in B.C. and six in Ontario. We bought a little townhouse on the U.B.C. campus, windows facing Pacific Spirit Park. 
	PISCES, I gave you short shrift last column, regarding the 17 years ahead (2008 to 2024). You've come through a "meat grinder" in career, status, VIP relations, and parent-kid spheres during the 1996-2007 cycle. For many young Pisceans (including two of my daughters) this has occurred naturally, as a breaking away from parental influence and seizing the opportunity of career-oriented education. But for others, the grinder has been more gruesome, forcing you into making big career decisions, loading bigger burdens on your shoulders, making bosses a bit more draconian, etc. All Pisceans - no matter your age - should have steered yourself, this past decade, toward higher career plateaus through higher education or foreign travels. 
	In 2008, the pressure starts to dissolve; by 2009, it disappears, as a wave of new goals, new social circles and new, uplifting contacts begins. In 2008 a bonanza comes, of new acquaintances, flirtations, promises and prospects, new goals, new wishes, huge popularity and one particular dream coming true! In 2010 your personal luck soars to new peaks. You'll become so cheerful, confident and extroverted you'll surprise yourself. Your career luck will rise. In-between, in 2009, make sure you take a breather to get your rest. Use this "down time" year ('09) to contemplate the changes that are filling your life (slowly, like water fills a sponge) and to plan ahead, to envision where you want to go over the decade or two ahead.  (The effect on you will be a lot like the effect on Capricorn - though lighter, easier than for Capricorn - so you can read the May 20 preamble for that sign for additional clues - it's in the Archive on the astral site.) 
	In 2011, you begin an additional journey, a spiritual one that lasts into 2025, and brings you to your ultimate, complete self. These two "waves" - 2008 to 2024 and 2011 to 2025 - merge to lift you to the height of life, understanding and accomplishment.
	If you enter this 17-year wave as a single, you might marry someone you first meet at a social function. From 2011 onward, an intense person could pursue you - one who will tell you, before much time has passed, that he/she has never known true love before. This person will be secretive, stubborn, sentimental and loyal, and you might thank the heavens that he/she found you.

Aries   March 21-April 19
Start NO new projects of any kind now through July 9. Domestic, family, real estate, security, retirement, foundational, agriculture, gardening, landscaping, construction, repair and similar issues or ventures might return from the past - bringing either an opportunity or a neglected chore - embrace/handle either one. Nostalgia winds through your daily mood. You might visit old haunts - it's a perfect time for a trip to see the folks. Pleasure, romance and creative urges arrive Sunday to Tuesday - and a sweet old lure/nemesis these days or Friday/Saturday? Tackle only essential chores mid-week.

Taurus   April 20-May 20
Don't start ANY new important projects or relationships through July 9, especially in communications, travel or paperwork. Expect missed appointments, delayed supplies, etc. - have "Plan B" ready.  A former contact might return to your life - not an important person. Your home remains affectionate (and, until September, sluggish, burdensome). Money's still good, but you might need to make an adjustment or adapt to changing conditions - Monday provides a hint, a "nudge." (And Tuesday provides the luck - you could grab a bonanza, small or large!) Be cautious with romance mid-week. 

Gemini   May 21-June 20
Focus on former or ongoing projects, relationships and opportunities. DON'T start new ventures before July 10, especially in earning and spending areas. Buy nothing important. Don't start a memory-reliant school course. Communications, writing, short travel, paperwork, detail chores and casual friendships remain sweet (until early July) although the slow, dull side of them also continues, through August. Despite this, you're making one long-term friend. Write to Libra or talk to a Taurus. A crucial relationship (spousal?) faces a major hurdle: another in December. But Tuesday solves much with love!

Cancer   June 21-July 22
Rest, lie low and contemplate Sunday through Wednesday. Thursday onward, your energy and charisma will climb to a summer peak! However, DON'T start any new projects or relationships before July 10; stick with ongoing ventures and concerns. Conserve your "forward momentum" until then. Use indecision as an opportunity to re-examine your goals and stances; use delays as a chance to research an important matter. You might need to readjust chores or duties Sunday/Monday - in a big, conceptual way. Money and work form a lucky pair Monday/Tuesday - and all week! 

Leo   July 23-Aug. 22
DON'T start any new ventures or relationships before July 10. Until then, stick to old or ongoing projects; protect them from mistakes, glitches, delays and "second thinking." Your charisma and charms remain high through June, but Thursday begins a month of contemplation, planning, low energy and the need for quiet recuperation. Handle old or neglected government, institutional or "head office" duties through July 9 (then, July 10 onward, tackle new projects in these areas). Your romantic and social aspirations need realignment Sunday/Monday - because your prospects are better than you think!

Virgo   Aug. 23-Sept. 22
Start NOTHING new - projects or relationships - now through July 9. A "former flirt" might show these few weeks. A wish you once cherished could return (or it could be fulfilled, unexpectedly). You're still eager to invest, but it's best now to wait until July 10. However, if a former investment opportunity returns, you can push ahead now - especially Tuesday or (less so, be cautious) Wednesday/Thursday. The same influences apply for sex, intimacy. You could be dealing (beneficially) with a change of home all 2007 - this theme arises again Sunday/Monday.

Libra   Sept. 23-Oct. 22
Don't start ANY new projects before July 10, especially on career, prestige, community status, parent-kid, or reputation fronts. Instead, give your attention to ongoing ventures; protect them from mistakes and delays. Have "Plan B" ready. Relationships continue to challenge and attract you. You might have met a "viable mate" since mid-May - but new people who arrive on the scene now to July 9 won't work out. Still, your social life will percolate nicely! Communication/travel methods need adjustment Sunday/Monday. Joy, popularity, flirtation visit you Monday/Tuesday! You impress people Friday/Saturday! 

Scorpio   Oct. 23-Nov. 21
The hard work continues. But DON'T start any new projects before July 10, in work, legal, learning, communications, cultural, love, far travel or similar zones. Instead, protect what's already scheduled, watch for delays, glitches and mistakes. You'll remain fortunate in money, but don't make any large purchases during the same period. Both a financial adjustment and a lucky monetary stroke occur Sunday to Tuesday - your career efforts, or a "key contact" with a powerful person could be involved. Socializing needs some astute decisions mid-week. Retreat for some rest Friday/Saturday.

Sagittarius   Nov. 22-Dec. 21
A long-lost lover, financial or research opportunity, lifestyle change or health "cure" might reappear over the few weeks ahead (to July 9) - if so, think once, then grab it or let it go forever. All June, you're wiser than usual about your future. You decide, Sage! But to July 9, DON'T start any new, significant project (especially in the spheres mentioned above). Sunday to Tuesday brings: 1) a final but almost subconscious decision about a relationship, and 2) a joyous sense of rightness and completeness. Avoid career corridors mid-week.

Capricorn   Dec. 22-Jan. 19
Start NO new significant projects or relationships before July 10 - instead, focus on things already started and contacts already made, especially in negotiations, litigation, public relations, relocation, competition, partnerships and marriage. Others might display indecision or second thoughts - accept this, be patient. You can't force anyone. Accept no promises (nor make any) - they'd be broken by circumstances. Your financial and business picture, sluggish all year, brightens up now into early July. Work, machinery, might need a crucial decision Sunday/Monday. Finances, sex and "secret areas" rain good luck on your Monday/Tuesday!

Aquarius   Jan. 20-Feb. 18
Romantic times, beauty and pleasure, and fine creative urges are all slowing now, coming to an end. Before that happens, you could be touched by an almost chilling sense of destiny with someone (impelling you deeper or away) Sunday/Monday, and feeling a joyous sense of companionship and "good relationship" Tuesday! (That light, excited feeling that can precede real love.) You're wise about it all Friday/Saturday, so make any remaining decisions then. Indecision, delays and mistakes wind through your work, health and machinery sphere until July 9. Persevere; start nothing.

Pisces   Feb. 19-March 20
Don't start new projects or relationships before July 10 - they would be plagued by indecision, mistakes and "misses." (E.g. "I really, really ached and yearned to see you, but for some reason I was 4 hours late for our date.") A former lover, a long-lost child, a creative project, former pleasure or vacation site, could return to sweeten your life. Money luck continues, but winds down this week - don't spend on whims. A climax/decision comes to your career efforts Sunday/Monday. By Tuesday, luck and love boost your standing - success awaits!
