TO MY CHINESE READERS:
We have been surprised and happy to receive interest from readers in China. We are publishing through Kindle and Amazon.com but they have withdrawn from China because they could not compete. This is why you can’t order my 2020 Forecast book on Amazon.com.
The challenges in responding were not anticipated. I’m not sure how to solve this. We are seeking advice. We do not have a relationship with a book seller in China, which would be best. If nothing else works we will find a way to provide a copy through our website.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

WEEKLY FORECAST:
ARIES: March 21-April 19
The fun continues — your optimism, popularity and general joy waft upward! Expect a few bright, hopeful conversations about the future — in this chatter, you’ll find hints of your own future earnings, or possible earnings plums. You remain “receptively romantic” — means another might chase you, and you don’t mind. But your mind is largely on international travel, higher education, culture, beliefs, media and gentle (or wedded) love. Good week to liaison with gov’t, managers, or institutions.
Sunday is mostly “party time,” social and happy. But mid-afternoon (PST) to pre-dawn Wed., interact with civil servants, institutions and “head office.” Be restful, contemplative, examine your plans. Both Mon. and Tues. daytimes go well (PST) but pre-dawn Tues. holds “gasoline and a match” — careful, esp. with verboten attractions or “money games.” Your energy surges and your charisma climbs Wed. to late Fri. afternoon. Charge ahead, esp., Wed./Thurs. — you “face” your career/status situation late Thurs., early Fri. — honesty coupled with bravery is your best success formula. Money, purchases, earnings, memory and learning — and sensual surprises — fill Fri. night, Saturday. A career or earnings wish could come true! Ride the waves of crisis, jump in open doors.
TAURUS: April 20-May 20
Be ambitious during the weeks ahead, Taurus. Higher-ups will be watching — and reporting on or discussing you. You’ll do well, but need to watch your stress levels. If unemployed, this is a good month ahead to seek a job. This week and next, affection fills your social contacts. Remain cautious (not impulsive) in financial situations.
Dream of career or status goals Sunday. This eve to Wed. pre-dawn (PST) brings happiness, optimism, popularity, social delights, entertainment and flirtation. Say “Yes” to joy! (But avoid impulsive investing, and being too pushy in intimate clinches.) Withdraw to sweet solitude Wed. dawn to Fri. afternoon. Liaison with gov’t, head office or institutions, charities and spiritual organizations. Meditate, ponder and plan. But there seems to be a long-standing obstacle: might involve your education, a legal matter or a social “restriction.” Your energy revives, your charm returns, Fri. eve through Sat. Saturday offers a financial plum (good investment) or a solution to the obstacle that appeared Thurs./Fri. Love gently rewards. Start a project, but look ahead: in mid-Feb., a few weeks of mistakes and delays begins, so make it a project that can be wrapped up within a week or two.
GEMINI: May 21-June 20
The weeks ahead bring some of your favourite things, Gemini: international travel, intellectual pursuits, love, fame, learning, cultural and social rituals. You might be falling in love (with a fiery type, maybe a smoker) though the emphasis seems more on sex than love. Higher-ups remain in your corner, supportive and friendly. Relationships are intense to mid-Feb. — make love, not war!
Sunday’s for wool-gathering, pondering what’s right and what’s wrong, seeing the whole world. But this night to pre-dawn Wed. fires your ambition — go forth, tackle career projects, show off for the bosses, present proposals to them. For best results, work alone, or with another only if you’re both enthused about the task. Your hopes and popularity rise Wed. to Fri. eve. You’ll hit obstacles, likely in financial, surgery or sexual areas — but you’ll be happy! Potential intense attraction Thursday, but this isn’t the best time to start a love affair. Retreat Fri. eve and Sat. — seek quietude, rest, ponder and plan. (In planning, realize a whirlwind of mistakes, delays and second-guessing exists mid-Feb. to early March.) All’s good Sat. — investments okay.
CANCER: June 21-July 22
The weeks ahead reveal hidden forces and factors, mysteries, secrets (with talk — much gossip or “therapeutic discussion”). Your subconscious rises to the surface, heightening your intuition. Sexual yearning, financial activities, medical and lifestyle decisions, research, commitment and consequence — all favoured/featured. (If you’re single, one you bond with in 2020 could become a sexual partner in 2021/22, or perhaps a “partner in pregnancy.”) Mild good fortune in legal, travel and school matters. Work remains intense, to mid-Feb.
Sunday daytime focuses on those mysteries mentioned above. (Not a good day to start anything.) Sunday eve to pre-dawn Wed. (PST) shunts you into a sweet, mellow and understanding mood. International affairs/travel, intellectual, legal and cultural pursuits go well, except where duties, work, machinery or health are involved. You might need to decide between work and, say, a vacation or voyage. Your ambitions, career and worldly status come into focus Wed. daytime to Fri. eve. Proceed carefully, but do charge ahead with a job Thursday — it’s a significant one. Your popularity rises, optimism too, Fri. eve through Sat. — flirt, have fun, but don’t push a member of the opposite sex, in any area.
LEO: July 23-Aug. 22
Relationships fill the weeks ahead. You might notice that you’ve become more ambitious, or status-conscious, in relations. But in romance you’re impulsive, courageous and lucky, right now (to mid-Feb.). Some singles will meet their future mate. Intimacy is sweet/ available for all Leos, this week and next.
Sunday finds you in a relationship mood, but with little to use it on. Life becomes mysterious Sunday eve to pre-dawn Wed. Hidden currents rise to the surface, your intuition soars, and actions you take now “set things up” for lucky consequences. Focus on finances, lifestyle changes, and increasing intimacy. One caution: avoid romance, gambling, and flirting with the law/ethics. Wednesday morning to Friday eve brings a mellow, wise and compassionate mood. You understand the world. Far travel, legal, intellectual, cultural and love interests draw you — but be careful, as major obstacles or conflicts exist. For instance, travelling afar could mean looking for another job pretty soon. Still, lots of progress Wed., and good “love luck” Thurs. Be ambitious Fri. eve through Sat. Your efforts, esp. Sat., can lead to career success, higher status down the road.
VIRGO: Aug. 23-Sept. 22
For the next few weeks, Virgo, the accent lies on work, daily health, machinery/tools, dependents and service people (e.g., the guy who cleans out your rain gutters). This is your natural habitat, in a way. You love “getting things done.” Co-workers treat you graciously this week and next. Be gentle on the home front, now to mid-Feb.
Sunday’s filled with chores — tackle only the “routine” ones. This evening to pre-dawn Wed. brings relationships. Good, all goes well, except when sex, sharing of assets, or suspicions/doubt enter the picture. Play these down, while making headway with others, loved ones and co-operators (and opportunities, relocation themes, negotiations). Life’s deeper side emerges Wed. morning to Fri. eve. Secrets, surgery, financial actions, investments/debt, sexual yearning, lifestyle decisions — these swirl around you. But many deep conflicts or obstacles await you here, so proceed cautiously. (Much will succeed, Wed./Thurs. — pick and choose.) A mellow, wise mood steals over you Fri. eve through Sat. Intellectual, far travel, legal and cultural themes enter. So do love and romance: here, you experience both friction and success. Be creative.
LIBRA: Sept. 23-Oct. 22
The weeks ahead swell with romance (or, if you’re married, with creative juices, children’s progress, play and sports). Communications and/or short travel (until mid-February) will tend to spark and/or deepen love, marriage prospects. Co-workers treat you well, next two weeks.
Sunday’s romantic, creative, pleasurable — but with little “new result.” Just be happy. Tackle chores this eve to pre-dawn Wed. (PST). Eat, dress sensibly. You’ll get scads accomplished, BUT don’t waste time talking, don’t fall into big love daydreams, and avoid argument about methods. Buy tools/machines Tues. afternoon, not Monday. Relationships face you Wed. morning to Fri. eve. You might visit or communicate with someone who would make a good mate — or would, if certain domestic snags did not exist. (E.g., your kids don’t like him/her.) But those snags do exist, so proceed carefully with others, with opportunities, negotiations or arguments, relocation and commitments. Wed./Thurs. are better than Fri. Friday evening through Saturday bring mysteries, commitment, research, sexual desires, medical and lifestyle choices. Follow your hunches — you might “guarantee” your future security.
SCORPIO: Oct. 23-Nov. 21
The weeks ahead focus on your domestic situation, Scorpio. Turn your attention toward home, hug the kids, conference with your spouse, dive into repairs, decoration, garden, etc. (But avoid major renovations, as three weeks of expensive mistakes, delays and mishaps begin mid-February.) Money continues to flow your way — bank it, don’t overspend. A sweet streak of romance winds its way through the two weeks ahead.
Sunday’s domestic — stay at home and relax. Romance, creative surges and speculative urges, beauty and pleasure fill Sunday eve to pre-dawn Wed. Only caution: money and love won’t mix (nor work and pleasure). Otherwise, a joyful few days! Tackle chores and protect your daily health Wed. morning to Friday eve. Wednesday and Thursday flow well, contain good money themes (late Thurs.) but obstacles rule, esp. Friday, when communications or vehicles might be “missing in action.” Friday eve through Saturday brings relationships, opportunities, relocation themes, new, fresh horizons. Perhaps a bit of man-woman friction Sat. pm, but this is quickly “solved” by a late surge of optimism, luck, esp. in money and intimacy.
SAGITTARIUS: Nov. 22-Dec. 21
The general accent lies on casual contacts, friends, errands, travel, paperwork, communications, swift, easy chores. Be curious, ask questions. Your determination, courage and assertiveness are high until mid-Feb., esp. in romance.
Home, family are Sunday’s for errands, calls, trips — but with little result. Instead, just have fun. Sunday eve to pre-dawn Wed. steers you toward home and family. All’s good here, as long as you avoid being romantic and being overbearing. (Both would cause a cloud of fantasies and indecision.) Romance wins Wed. morn to Fri. eve, though — esp. Thurs. pm. But obstacles exist, perhaps big ones, and they involve money or possessions. Note these, even as you move forward. Tackle chores Friday eve through Sat. You’ll have lots of energy, and a money bonus could arrive Saturday.
CAPRICORN: Dec. 22-Jan. 19
The general accent lies on money, earnings, purchases, possessions, casual sex and rote learning. These occupy you, Capricorn, for the next few weeks. Expect lots of money oriented discussions this week and next. Until mid February continue to avoid violent people and dangerous places. (At the same time, if you’re a Capricorn rising, your athletic abilities are tops.) You will meet friendly contacts almost every day.
Sunday daytime brings that shopping and money accent, but without much result. This evening until Wednesday pre-dawn sends you on errands, and fills the hours with communications and paperwork. All is well, as long as you avoid arguments and provocative speech and impulsive driving. Steer yourself toward home and family Wednesday morning to Friday evening. You will find obstacles here, probably connected to your status or career. Even so, Wednesday and Thursday can be quite productive — especially in domestic areas and in interfacing with civil servants or their type. Friday evening through Saturday hits the romance, beauty and pleasure button — yet a member of the opposite sex might not cooperate with you Saturday. Even so, late Saturday can end with heart-filled happiness.
AQUARIUS: Jan. 20-Feb. 18
You’re in your element, Aquarius. Your energy, charisma, clout, timing and effectiveness ride high until late Feb. Be a leader, organize projects, start ventures. (But in that last, realize mid-Feb. brings a month of delays, mistakes and indecision, so start quick projects, or those you can put on a stable foundation before mid-Feb.) Your hopes are high, and the more you travel or communicate, the more wishes will come true. Your money and romantic luck are good now to early Feb.
Sunday, your energy and charisma are high, but little will come of it. You did enough last Fri./Sat., so rest on your laurels now. Sunday evening to pre-dawn Wednesday urges you to chase money, butter up your clients, and seek bargains. All goes well, except where you are too friendly, talk or travel too much. (Friends and money don’t mix.) Dive into travel, talk, errands and paperwork Wed. morn to Friday eve. Obstacles exist here (the same old ones: gov’t, gossip, personal shortcomings — including education). But you can also make headway, esp. Wed. and Thurs. A wish could come true Thursday late! Steer toward home and family Fri. eve through Saturday. Hug the kids, do repairs, garden, etc. Rest and contemplate: you could find a solution to those personal shortcomings just mentioned (government, gossip etc.).
PISCES: Feb. 19-March 20
Lie low, Pisces — and remain hunkered down until late February. Although you will not make much mark on the outside world in the few weeks ahead, your inner development can be tremendous. Be diplomatic with higher ups until mid February — they are a bit more temperamental than usual. Your physical charms shine now. Closed door discussions occur this week and next — for example, this Sunday daytime. (But don’t expect much result this day.)
Sunday evening to pre-dawn Wednesday lifts your energy and charisma to nice heights — but not to the sky, as you are in a month of rest and recuperation. Still, you can get a tremendous amount done and started Monday/Tuesday. The only flaws involve either money or career — smile at higher ups who are having an intense time. If you work hard they’ll notice it and put a good mark in your record despite their temperament. You can start new projects now, but make sure you can finish them within three weeks at the most. (A period of delays and mistakes begins mid February.)
Pursue $ and bargains Wednesday morning to Friday Eve. Wednesday and Thursday yield some good results, but social, ethical and legal issues present obstacles to your success. Go forward, but carefully. You might grab a lucky promotion late Thursday. Friday eve and Saturday are for errands, paperwork, trips and visits, calls and casual contacts. All’s well — social joys Sat. night.
THE END.
AFTERAMBLE:
I see Victor David Hansen of the Hoover Institute now agrees with me that a deep, structural change is taking place in American politics. (Of course, as a scholar, Hanson would just blow me off. But as a forecaster — I wrote about the present day changes in the 1980’s — right after I predicted Perestroika and the collapse of the U.S.S.R. — I accept the disdain of scholars — those who could not even tell you what will occur tomorrow.)
I think “structural” is too narrow term. The change is structural, but there is an even deeper, organic change occurring. Hanson called the change “scary” — I suspect he’s scared because he can’t peer into these changes and see their results: he’s scared of the organic portion of this macro change. I empathize, it is scary.

“When you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing; when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods but in favours; when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don’t protect you against them, but protect them against you; when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self sacrifice, you may know that your society is doomed.” — Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged. There was a beautiful woman in the center. Around her stood about ten, twelve men. They were conversing with each other, but their attention was on the woman. To one side, but part of the circle only because there was a gap there, no one perhaps wanting to get too close, stood a tree trunk, and on the trunk sat, perched, a physically powerful looking man. His torso and neck and head were gigantic. His chest, or rather his back muscles, were broad as a highway. He sat hunched, and looked at no one. But his head kept nodding up and down, his jaw was clenched, and his eyes, filled with fear and determination, locked firmly on the near distance. To look at him, your first impression would be that he must have lost a loved one. But upon closer look, he appears to have lost something bigger, and to be facing some terrible end, like banishment, and was determined but absolutely without help and only with horror and a regret so deep life could not erase it, and this way he was humbly and fearfully defending his psyche against the future.

There is a Place beyond morality, but it’s only reached through virtue (pure morality). And only achieved when the virtue is as pure as the moon is white. I think, before you reach even close to that Place, you get glimpses of it; perhaps promises. It’s not what we’re born with, it’s what we achieve. That includes anything of value to us, for who else is going to judge? For instance, if owning a modest bungalow is a life time dream, then achieving that is heroic, and will move you one step up, and you will be a person who fulfilled their life goal. In the end we judge ourselves, because every other metric is flawed.
