The week, I’ve decided to write each sign’s year ahead rather than the usual weekly column.
YOUR YEAR AHEAD: 2025
ALL SIGNS: Avoid starting new projects during the following periods:
March 14 to April 7, July 18 to August 11, and November 9 to 28.
From January 1 to February 23, men might be less “vigorous” or sexually forward/passionate.
From January 1 to February 3, a lot of the good luck I describe for each sign, might be delayed or “on hold.” Keep the faith, for this zone will return to lucky forward motion — and won’t go “on hold” again until November 11, 2025 into 2026.
ARIES: March 21-April 19
The first half of 2025 will continue the flurry of paperwork, messaging, contacts and errands that consumed the second half of 2024, Aries. Some of these seemingly inconsequential tasks relate to, and aid, a legal, international, educational, media or love matter. Delays occur in this until February sparks new optimism, flirtatiousness, sociability and new friends — and progress in communications, law, international concerns, etc. — setting you off on new adventures.
You can face friction in your home January to mid-April. Be gentle, kind; don’t dominate children. From late April to mid-June, romance can flare with heat, intensity and courage. May offers “easy” sex. Your physical charms radiate in March and May. (From early March to mid-April, love matters are put on hold for awhile. A former love — a burdensome one — might return March/April.)
All year, you’d be wise to manage and delegate tasks, rather than tackling them yourself. Late May begins two years in which you will be extra ambitious, sober and conservative — probably a good thing! Work hard in January (especially, be “hand in hand” with a higher-up) and July — but in July, launch projects before mid-month, or shelve them.
Early June through December (and into mid-2026) your luck in home, children, security, and real estate soars to a more-than-decade high. This is your best time to sell and buy a home or other property. It’s a great time to plan your kids’ futures, set up scholastic funds, etc. Great for gardening, too.
August might trigger a romance that lasts through September, and by October takes on serious “partnership possibilities” or vibes. (Good sex with this one, too.) November/December hold romantic openings, also. Pamper your health in March (stomach?) and November. A trip might be in the cards this autumn (Nov./Dec.) — you might have to choose between this and good stuff at home.
The planet Pluto just entered Aquarius, where, for 19 years, it will encourage socializing with people who hold power, analysts and investigators, wealthy individuals, police, doctors, and other “deep” types.
This long period will bring wishes true about sex, investments, research or power plays. But make sure you don’t wish for negative things, as these can tempt sporadically.
In late January, the planet Neptune will enter your sign — until 2038. You will become softer, a wee bit more dreamy, intuitive and indecisive. Your dealings with the government will increase — so will your management skills (perhaps vastly!).
You will exit 2025 with renewed confidence and physical vitality.
TAURUS: April 20-May 20
Until June ‘25, Taurus, your money luck is very, very good, especially in areas of buying and selling, employment earnings and pensions. This is a good time to ask the boss for a pay raise. Casual sex (friends with benefits) is readily available, if you want it.
Marriage is a different matter: now through 2042, the planet Pluto will be in your carer and status sector. Some single Taureans will marry quickly, and might have a status motive. Others might find that relationships are a bit of a struggle that needs diplomacy, understanding, and courage. Your mate might try to dominate you, or might work with you on a major project, perhaps the biggest of your lifetime. In some cases, a higher-up might take you on as a partner or associate.
Communications need an extra helping of diplomacy January to mid-April, especially if you’re liaising with the government or “head office.” Travel might be tiring.
Home and family, real estate and security, grow intense mid-April to mid-June. Be kind, gentle with family, as friction lies close to the surface.
The month of May, late May, ends two years of restrictions and a sober influence on your social circuit, and “practical wishes.” So this zone, of social delights and entertainment and light, friendly romance, will be free of a suffocating tinge June onward — for decades. A government or management or institutional situation needs dutiful attention, June into 2027.
From June to December, your strongest good fortune leaves your money area and instead brings piles of paperwork, line-ups of calls and texts, and many short trips — two of which might become longer, or international. These communications could open a door to fortune in investment areas — and sex, and medical or lifestyle choices.
Love is a definite possibility January through May, if you socialize. Something that begins (or began, since 2023) in a mild, slow way, might eventually lead to a wedding. Social joys fill January. Someone met there (in a group) might later appear again in March/April, in a good way. You’re filled Wirth charisma in May, but others don’t seem to notice until June, when you attract sweet attention. Romance can be hot, intense, in July. From late September to early November, a partner — and others in general — can be assertive, aggressive, ready to argue (but also “hot to trot”). NOT a good time to pursue a prospective mate. Stomach upsets possible August/September — eat sensibly.
GEMINI: May 21-June 20
You’re the luckiest person in the world until June 9, Gemini. You’ll be cheerful, friendly, open to new ideas and new people. The old scales of past mistakes or misdeeds fall away, leaving you emotionally clean and fresh. Others will gravitate toward your ebullience and new mellow attitude. If you’re single, at least two people will be attracted, and you could have your choice of “partners.” This is a great five months for travel, higher learning, legal matters, and social rituals. But Saturn in Pisces can squelch your luck and enthusiasm a bit, especially in January, if you ignore practical restrictions or outcomes.
From June onward (right into mid-2026) your luck will shift from personal presence to monetary fortune. This period could be one of the most fortunate money phases of your life — certainly of the last 12 years. It’s a great time to push for a pay raise, to improve your career standing and your everyday status. But go slow with this September onward, when some headwinds affect prestige ambitions.
January to mid-April bring back a 2024 trend of “gushing money.” It rushes to you, and, unless you have tight fists, from you. Overall, you’ll be happy with dollars. Mid-April to mid-June, and early August to late September, bring quick, easy conversation, flirting, friendly romance. The August/September period might turn a friendly romance into marriage. Whatever happens, by October you’ll see love clearly, and make your mind up.
All 2025, you will be wise to favour or pursue career and other prestige, ambitious goals, and to tread lightly (and reject temptations) on home, family and real estate fronts. January 11, 2025 to late July, 2026, is one of the worst times to buy (and often to sell) real estate. So, if you must move, act earlier (late 2024) or hold your downpayment until after July ’26.
Best times for love: early February, late May to mid-June, August to October, and late November to mid-December.
Dial down any friction at home mid-June to early August. Your health might need attention in January and July to September.
Last year started a trend that will last until 2042, which “elevates” your work to intellectual, travel, or teaching levels. April starts a 13-year trend of increased psychic abilities, accurate hunches, and friendships tied either to your ambitions, or to “confidential sharing.”
CANCER: June 21-July 22
The last half of 2024 wasn’t especially kind to you, Cancer. You had to deal with a lot of government paperwork, and perhaps were saddled with caring for a relative, or caught long hours at work. Well, the first half of 2025 continues this trend. If you use it right, it can really benefit you. Good directions are into (or liaise with) the government or head office or other management/bureaucratic environments. Trends here can flow swiftly and fortunately February (not January) to June. Work smart, not hard! If anybody tries to roll over you, or get the upper hand, let them — for now.
June starts an entire year (to mid-26) of great good fortune for you, Cancer, especially in work areas, machinery, tools. You will be cheerful, optimistic, friendly — which brings good luck. The luck might go as high as getting you wedded, or might send you off on an unforgettable cruise, bring investment and/or poker winnings. One possible negative: this same trend can expand any illness, so if you get sick, go to a doctor fairly quickly.
January through mid-April, you’ll glow with intensity, determination, sexual magnetism, and courage. This might attract old suitors, January/February, but something’s lacking in the sexual potency area. March onward, charge ahead. Your career and relations with prestigious people bring benefits February, March and May. (But work hard in April, too, when bosses are watching.)
June starts a very lucky year, but it also brings the planet Saturn into your career sector — for two years. You might feel that more work is being piled on you, but not more money. (You’ll get that money/pay raise in 2026/7.) But, just grin and bear it. Don’t quit your job unless you have another, better one in hand. And don’t get fired for cause — it can affect your employment for many years. On the plus side, 1) you can build your career brick-by-brick, and rise solidly, 2) your boss or a higher-up might be willing to to partner with you, and 3) you might marry “up.” (For the next two years, you’ll meet more partnership prospects in career situations than in a night club.) For the next 13 years, your career will likely evolve into dealings with law, education, international travel, import/export, media, or similar activities.
If you’re young, your fertility will be high for the next 19 years. Same period, lust and sex predominate in romantic bonds. You will probably change your lifestyle and/or your residence during these two decades. Health-wise, your reproductive organs might need care — protect against sexually transmitted diseases.
LEO: July 23-August 22
The first half of 2025 can bring a special wish true, Leo — actually, two wishes. Nothing will happen in January (just keep working) but February to June can bring dreams true in connection with children, a creative or speculative project, beauty and pleasure, and love. Your “passion” or romantic vitality might be low January to late April, but then it explodes, April to late June, in fireworks of romance, magnetism, determination — you could fall in love. (If married, enjoy your mate.) March/April features an old flame, or perhaps a new sexual attraction. Don’t invest March to mid-April unless it’s an ongoing or former expenditure
Three momentous changes occur before July:
1) The planet Pluto is already in your partnership and enemy, agreement and argument sector — and will stay for 19 more years. You can be drawn to magnetic but determined and stubborn people. In marriage, you will either end things on struggles with compatibility, or struggle and grow deeper and deeper together. Domesticity and security will play a large role in relationships.
2) In April, Neptune enters your sector of wisdom, law, travel, love and profound ideas — for 13 years. You will now mull over the events of the last decade +, in financial, sexual, research, medical/surgery, and “secret” agreements, and bring them into the light of day. You might become an advisor, or writer, or teacher, or lawyer. Your intuition will grow, and steer you fortunately in intellectual areas. In love, you will grow softer and more selfless. In reading and filmdom, you’ll appreciate fantasy, ocean tales, hospital and space fiction. You might travel extensively, particularly in ships, or over oceans. Spirituality will attract you as a learning experience.
3) The planet Saturn, your work planet, enters your intellectual sector in late May, for 3 years. It will add sobriety, an anchor, and hard reality to those areas Neptune “lights up” (described in 2) above) such as travel and love.
The second half, June to December, is a little quieter. You’ll be content with a quiet room or lawn, reading a book or meditating. Your good luck will occur in management, institutional and government zones. If you are in management or a civil servant, this can be a hugely rewarding time. Leo healthcare workers will have a banner, happy year, June ’25 to June ’26. June onward favours research, meditation/contemplation, and rejuvenation through rest.
Your health should be fairly good all year. If an internal illness occurs the last half, get to a doctor quickly. Money gushes to you in July — try to avoid spending it. In August, you’re the star, and a friend could become a lover, as you appear to be the “answer” for him or her. A former flame might re-ignite in March/April, July (less chance) and late November. Late November into December is very romantic. Show your interest!
VIRGO: August 23-September 22
The first half of 2025 offers you great good fortune in career, prestige relations and worldly status, Virgo. You could seize anything from the CEO spot to treasurer of your kayaking or gardening club. This is the time to be ambitious — best time in a decade. But you’d be wise to wait until February onward to act on your ambitions.
From January to mid-April, your wishes can come true about finances, investments, research, medical and lifestyle situations — and intimacy. Lust can be strong, and you are likely to focus it on someone met in a group. Combine caution and rumination with intense impulses here, and you should succeed. A rather strong sexual desire toward a casual contact or friend could arise late April to mid-June — this could end all the casualness from this bond, turn it into consequential stuff such as pregnancy, or sharing finances. A lust/love trend also arises from mid-June to early August — you’ll attract others, your sexual magnetism glows — and late December, but without the major consequences.
Lots of money flows to you August/September — good, if you don’t spend it! (Every time I get this gush of money, it usually comes with a glut of bills coming due.) October is one of your best months to ask for a permanent pay raise.
You will love the second half, June to December (and halfway into 2026, too). Your “luck fulcrum” moves from ambition to your social life. Your emotions will be constantly buoyed by optimistic dreams, popularity, social delights, entertainment and flirtations. My advice, June ’25 to June ’26, is to join one or more groups — political, social, spiritual, outdoors, whatever — it will improve your life for many years to come.
2025 also starts three long-term trends, Virgo :
In May, Saturn starts three years of (the need for) conservative, sober and careful handling of finances, deep health, and sexual intimacy. Things will start slower than usual in these zones, but will grow and could lead to marriage, pregnancy, a “castle” of money, etc.
In late April, Neptune will enter the same zones — intimacy, finances, lifestyle changes — for 13 + years. This will add intuition, some dreaming, and a good ability to see the whole picture in sexual, medical and financial situations. It, too, can spark sex that leads to marriage. (If you’re already married, stick too finances, medical, research and practical/worl partnerships.)
The planet Pluto has already entered your sector of employment, daily health, and tools/machinery, to stay until 2042. This won’t have a big effect on your life, but it will nudge your work into more communicative, travel and paperwork areas.
LIBRA: Sept. 23-Oct. 22
You’re “in tune with the world” the first half of 2025, Libra. You’re mellow, tolerant, gentle, dipping into profound ideas, perhaps travelling internationally, learning on a higher level, publishing/broadcasting, entering legal waters, or developing a philosophy of life — or gently falling in love. This is a great time to wed, enter school, handle a legal question, etc. A Gemini might play a significant role. (However, a promising attraction, begun during a romantic February, might meet indecision and delay — mostly on your part — March through mid-April. A former flame might show up.)
Bosses and authorities (including judges) are impatient and temperamental January to just past mid-April. Take care, be diplomatic. Some possibility of 1) marrying “up,” or 2) forming an association or partnership with a higher-up.
From mid-April to mid-June, if you’re single, you could meet someone at a group affair who flirts, raises your hopes, and could grow into a life mate. (You can always please this person by praising him/her.) But don’t even contemplate merging with a person who first appears mid-June to August 5. During this summer period, avoid sketchy places and belligerent individuals. From early August to early November, you exude sexual magnetism, and you’re brave and determined — and you are “in charge” of where a relationship goes.
Lots of money flows to you late September to early November. Bank it; debt payments are not far behind. Good income in November. Invest in May.
From June right into mid-2026, your ambitions, career, prestige relations and worldly standing are blessed by huge luck — the best in a decade. Be forward, promote yourself, apply for more than one job listing, etc. By late 2026, you’ll be congratulating yourself.
All year, plunge into tasks yourself — delegating might leave the job undone, or shoddily done.
Neptune enters your marriage sector in April, for many years to come. This can nudge you into marrying a co-worker, and forming practical work partnerships. You might grow suspicious of others’ motives — be realistic. Selfishness can make you chase an unreliable person.
Saturn enters your marriage sector in May, to stay for about three years. During this time, you can be prone to live with someone, to accent the domestic in a love bond. You’ll find that others are slow to accept. People your own age will tend to reject you, while those younger and older are much more willing to squeeze and please. Pluto enters your romance sector until 2042, hinting that romance will mingle with possessiveness, and might have a direct link to money.
Health-wise, protect your feet until April. Avoid rashes, burns, caustic chemicals and sharp tools mid-June to August 6. Your digestion might need care (heart burn?) mid-December into January 2026. For the next 14 years, your daily health depends a lot on your relationship health. A mild but niggling (consequential?) Symptom might appear in June or September/October.
SCORPIO: Oct. 23-Nov. 21
Luck-wise, Scorpio, the first half of 2025 will be much like the last half of 2024. Your good luck, to early June, lies in investments/debt, lust, pregnancy, medical and lifestyle actions, and research. Don’t be afraid to make a commitment — the consequences could please. You could open the door to a brand new life. Investments are favoured in February (real estate?) and late May/early June (general, stocks, etc.) Uranus enters this sector in July, calling for caution, and leaning you toward high-tech, whether in work or investments.
Carefully avoid lawsuits January to April 19. Bosses can be temperamental, impatient, late April to mid-June. During this time, work hard, show your skills (especially with machinery/computers) and be eager to volunteer. Co-workers are helpful, gracious from February to early June. Two major planets move into your work area this spring — Neptune in April (really March 31) and Saturn in May. These will add a sober, realistic note for the next three years, and an intuitive, dreamy note for the next 14 years. Together, they will give you a realistic imagination — a great combination.
Romance is sweet in March (and a bit in April) — you might be attracted to an Aries (co-worker?) or Taurus, or someone who has an advantage over you (a Libra?). Love is delayed/indecisive, yet sweet. Late June to early August brings a social opening to romance — so does September. Your sexual magnetism grows late September to early November. (But get plenty of rest in October.) All 2025, you will fare better in creative and deeply romantic situations, but poorly in “group creativity” and light or friendly, social romance.

Your ruling planet, Pluto, recently moved into Aquarius, your domestic sector, where it will stay for 19 more years. During this time, home, family, nature and security will be more important than ambition, career, and prestige.
Health-wise, your digestion might need care (more likely in 2026 than 25). Stress in relationships can affect your stomach — and anything else. If you do suffer physically this year, stress is probably the cause. (It has been since 2018.) This spring, two major planets (Saturn for 3 years; Neptune for 14 years) move into your sector of work, nutrition and health. Going forward, good, regular habits are essential for 3 years. For 14 years, the less alcohol and drugs the better. Avoid over-ripe vegges and fruit, limp lettuce, etc. Pamper your health and improve nutrition in June and October (when heat, rashes, burns are a wee danger).
SAGITTARIUS: Nov. 22-Dec. 21
For the first half of 2025, Sage, huge, life-changing opportunities face you — although you might have to wait until February onward to seize them, or even to see them. Opportunities: for relationships/partnering, fame, relocation, and contracts/agreements. These will be particularly blessed in late January, April, late May and early June. Remember one thing for these six months: others hold all the cards, so as you relate, so you’ll succeed.
From June onward (into mid-26) your good luck shifts from “pure relationships” to “consequential” ones. A business agreement now faces funding; a marriage might turn to baby-making; an attraction can turn to deep intimacy; an opportunity now needs the work and commitment. In general, the last half of 2025 will focus on secrets, research, large finances, life changes, lust/sex, medical exigencies, heightened intuition and subconscious promptings. These can yield huge good fortune for you. You might, for instance, make very good investments.
What might have seemed to be a budding romance (or a far travel or intellectual activity) might slacken in January, improve slightly (but not enough) in February, regain its potency (physically) March to mid-April, and finally resume its full flowering mid-April to mid-June. The result could be a wedding! But in all this, the main drive comes from another — you are more the recipient than the chaser. CAPRICORN: Dec. 22-Jan. 20
You always start the year splendidly, Cap. That’s because January is your energy month, when your charisma is strongest. In 2025, the first six months hold great good luck in work, health and machinery zones. This is a great time to buy a car, backhoe, TV or drill press — anything mechanical. (However, be a little skeptical Jan./Feb., and refuse to buy March 14 to April 7.)
You will deal a lot with endings and new beginnings — especially in relationships Jan./Feb., and in “home” zones March through mid-April. (When a former residence might “lure” you.) Others are confrontational January to late April. This can bring a fight, an enemy, or a hot attraction. (Both are likely to be delayed Jan./Feb., forward-moving March/April.) Even if it’s a hot attraction, it could end later. A former mate, house-sharer or lover might appear anytime Jan. to April. By late April into May, romance thrives, your family is supportive, and relationships in love and business begin to turn inward or deeper, into intimate areas, funding, commitment, investigation, major finances, temptation — right into mid-June. As long as you’re honest, you’ll do well.
From June to December (and halfway into 2026) your good luck shifts from the work and tool arena to clear, open relationships. Huge, life-changing opportunities will face you — for relationships/partnering (you could meet a life mate) fame, relocation, and contracts/agreements. Just remember one thing: others hold all the cards, so to succeed, join em, don’t fight em. Opportunities are especially strong in July, September and late October/early November.
Romance is lovely in May. A friendly romance (but a physical one) might start September Into early November.
Strictly avoid lawsuits mid-June to early August. Bosses are impatient, temperamental August/September, but favour you mid-October to early November. Time your proposals accordingly. Be cautious with investments (and contracting debt) mid-April to mid-June. You might be very active sexually this Spring. An extra-marital attraction holds the potential to end your domestic set-up. Guard against STD’s, and protect your health generally, esp. from allergies, rashes, caustic chemicals and heat. Pamper your health in August and October — get plenty of rest.
Your planet, Saturn, enters your home sector in May, to stay for 3 years. Then your communications planet, Neptune, enters the same place, to stay for 14 years. This hints that your home, family, will be very important for the future. If in years to come you feel a free-floating worry or anxiety, you can lessen/cure it by living in sight of a large lake or ocean. July through October gives you a hint that in future (next 7 years) your work will include computers or electronics or “people skills.”
AQUARIUS: Jan. 21- Feb. 18
The first half of 2025 is super-fortunate for romance, Aquarius — one of the best times in 25 years. It might be delayed in January (when you’re tired, anyway) but by February you’re attracting attention, and by late April to mid-June, relationships are hot, intense — and can either explode into argument or worse, or into “mad love.” Communication will solve problems, if they arise. This romantic influence also boosts creative projects, teaching children, risky ventures, and the pursuit of pleasure and beauty (exotic vacation?). June dovetails romantic affection into physical embrace, heightening sexual intimacy June to early August. This period, June-August, also spurs you to invest or make major lifestyle changes — and might bring surgery.
Mid-June onward (into 2026) shifts the focus of your good luck from romance/creativity to the work, employment, machinery and daily health zone. This is an excellent time to buy the car you want, or machinery. (Don’t buy mid-July to August 10, or November 9 through December.) Make meal plans or ensure you eat nutritious foods. You could get a promotion or (more likely) a pay raise. Ask for one in July, September and November. A home office is a good idea. Bosses are impatient, critical and temperamental, late September to early November, then they praise you, almost all November.
Although the second half of 2025 keeps your best luck in the practical column, romance won’t be a stranger. July is sexual and romantic, and could lead you to a commitment — until late month brings indecision, delay (to August 10). July/August might bring a former love back. August brings exciting meetings, with a wedding flavour. Mid-August into October heightens mental love, a love that conforms to social structures and rituals, and can be on track to a wedding. Sparks start in November, but the fire is lit late this month and in December — a friendly romance, perhaps someone you meet in a group.
From July to November, your ruling planet, Uranus, enters your romance and creative sector. It will return here in early 2026. Thus begins seven years of major creativity, major inventiveness, and major love. (If you’re happily married, the emphasis is on happy, talented children.) Pluto, your career planet, has recently entered Aquarius, for 19 more years, so you will be very ambitious (or reject ambition totally). This hints, too, that you will engage in a more creative or risky career.
Saturn enters your communications, travel and paperwork sign (Aries) in late May, to stay for three years. This can make your speech and writing slower, more studied. If you have to give a talk, rehearse it first.

Children will delight you now. This is the time to put down roots. If you are moving, choose a prestigious neighbourhood, as your home now reflects your ambitions/standing.
