 (Note: I’m going to write the LOVE FORECASTS FOR 2014 in reverse order, starting with Pisces.)

 PISCES, until mid-July, your love/romantic opportunities are strong and active, especially if you seek love in the corridors of power – at work, in your career, in the upper echelons of society, etc. The same time period heats up your sexual zone, both intensifying your urge toward intimate bonding, and making others responsive. Trouble is, many of the “responsive” types will be already engaged, attached or married. Avoid these ones, as a burden of guilt will later weigh both of you down. These seven months generally tempt you toward love that has an ulterior motive, for you might really be seeking power, financial gain (e.g., he/she has a solid net worth) and/or security – these motives lead to lust, rather than love. Lust “runs out,” whereas love has built-in growth. Oddly, you might remain consciously unaware of these ulterior motives. So combine attraction with self-awareness. This is a superb half year to learn about yourself, and about the complicated depths of your heart.

To early March, you might meet love in a social or group setting. The more you socialize, the better your chances of a thrilling connection. In February, new relationships will buckle under the weight of indecision – but an “ex” might appear. If this former bond broke up through circumstances (rather than incompatibility) and those have changed, the two of you could face a renewed future. In March, your magnetism draws admirers. April is sensual; you radiate a soft glamour. In May/June, a strong, sturdy, slow, deliberate person who has had a tough time in 2012/13, might be willing to form a friendly romantic link. July is passionate, romantic.

The last five months of 2014 are not quite as exciting: an expanding work scene or health situation takes up much of your time and focus. Even so, in August/September someone (perhaps a Scorpio or Virgo?) is fired up about you. November could bring a gentle love, perhaps a wedding.

All year, a slow but gentle association could develop that has a steady, quiet way of fulfilling your dreams about marriage.

ARIES   March 21-April 19

Bosses still favour you (which is a nice, even needed, change from the general trend) so take advantage. Your career is steadily transforming, pushing you to adjust – if you don’t adjust, then the changes will seem abrupt, unexpected, and possibly negative – e.g., being fired. Adjusting when bosses like you is easier and fruitful, as now to early March. You’re also in a nice social period for the next few weeks, aiding you in buttering up the powers that be. (I should have given you this advice in the last few weeks, when career matters were more immediate and crucial. But that was “pressure time” – the present is “build the relationship time” – get a boss on your side.) Expect social delights, flirtations, light romance, popularity, and dreams coming true all week, especially Thursday/Friday. Earlier, Sunday/Monday promote travel, intellectual activities, and love. Be ambitious Tuesday (best) and Wednesday. Lie low Saturday.

 

TAURUS   April 20-May 20

Be ambitious, Taurus. Until late February, VIPs are receptive, higher-ups and parents are watching your performance – not critically, but expectantly, hopefully. Now is your chance (through late February) to impress them! (Apropos this, the cloud that’s hung over you in many areas for the last 17 months will disappear in mid-February: sunshine, hope, and an “even playing field” will return.) This focus on career rises to a critical point this Wednesday night to Friday eve. Benevolent forces aid you here, but you’ll face two “challenges” – 1) a peer or co-worker might decline to aid you or co-operate; and 2) a “face off” between two other people whom you like, perhaps a tug-o-war between a casual friend and a deep friend, or between a short trip and a journey, or something involving your education, faces you. This [“2)] could be an opportunity in disguise. Earlier, Sunday/Monday bring mysteries, sexual longings, financial decisions. Tuesday/Wednesday find you mellow, wise, and understanding – a philosopher of life. Saturday, your popularity pleases and surprises you!

 

GEMINI   May 21-June 20

A mellow, compassionate, wise mood continues to flow through you into late February, especially this Wednesday night to Friday eve. You might begin a new venture in international travel, higher education, publishing, social rituals (e.g., weddings, bat mitzvahs) or cultural zones, but be aware that these might not succeed in a financial, sexual, or work/employment aspect. So do it for the love of it, not for gain. The past might arise in these areas soon (not until February 12 onward). This opportunity from the past, if it arises Feb. 13 to 18, could be very successful, beyond the reach of the potential difficulties listed above (financial, sexual, work). Your choice: now for the love of it, or Feb. 13-18, for the success of it. Earlier, Sunday/Monday bring important and successful relationships. Tuesday/Wednesday feature lust, financial decisions, health matters, lifestyle commitments, most of ‘em good. Be ambitious Saturday: luck rides with you!

 

CANCER   June 21-July 22

You’re in the second week (of four) of life’s depths, Cancer. Be a detective, a researcher, look under the carpet, find hidden clues, treasures and intimacies. Lifestyle changes, financial commitments, health diagnoses – these occupy you until late February. However, the most successful of these will occur (or return from the past) from February 13 to 18. Until then, a lack of co-operation from a mate or partner (or from an unimpressed public) will hamper your efforts, could even lead to a final disappointment. So enjoy the depths, but take care with any significant commitment, especially this Wednesday night to Friday supper time (PST) when the push to invest, start an intimate relationship, etc., can be strong. Earlier, tackle chores Sunday/Monday – you’ll  get loads done. Relationships are important Tuesday/Wednesday – luck is mingled, so be alert, diplomatic, and unprejudiced.  Saturday’s happy, mellow, loving.

 

LEO   July 23-Aug. 22

Relationships fill your horizon through late February, especially this Wednesday night to Friday eve. In general, a barrier might arise to any link or partnership venture started before February 13. (The barrier involves your health or domestic or work situation.) From Feb. 13 to 18, a partnership project from the past can succeed – could send your heart soaring. So I would NOT invest with another, nor tie any intimate knots (nor relocate) before then. Even so, you might as well enjoy the present. Sunday/Monday’s romantic vibes/events will help immensely to brighten a Wed.-to-Fri. tete-a-tete. Despite my warnings, some Leos will fall in love and marry almost overnight. For “romance,” you can substitute anything pleasurable and expressive – e.g., an art class flirtation Sun./Mon. could bring a serious look at each other Wed.-Fri. Tackle chores Tuesday/Wednesday. Sex, secrets, finances, health news Saturday – all good!

 

VIRGO   Aug. 23-Sept. 22

The weeks ahead hold many chores, and perhaps a health concern. Eat, dress sensibly. A new task (even new employment) might begin Wednesday night through Friday. In accepting or chasing this, take into account that February will bring a general slowdown, a time of false starts, mistakes and indecision. Only start things that you can complete in the week ahead, or that you can start in March (better). Focus on your home and family, security, property and retirement interests Sunday/Monday – charge ahead in these zones, make changes, all’s good. Romantic notions, creative and speculative urges, children’s interests fill Tuesday/Wednesday – proceed cautiously, avoid romanticizing a co-worker, and avoid pushing for intimacy. Friday night and Saturday bring the kind of person/people you should be with – someone special could appear!

 

LIBRA   Sept. 23-Oct. 22

The weeks ahead promote romance, creative and speculative surges, charming children (and their interests) pleasure and beauty. You’re on a winning streak! A new venture or project could begin in these areas Wednesday night through Friday eve. A love affair could begin, or climb to a new level. One caution, Libra: until February 13, if you start a long-range project or relationship in these zones (romance, creativity, et al) it could eventually be stopped by monetary or family/security circumstances. (E.g., a romance fails because one’s a pauper, one wealthy, or the family disapproves.) But a person or project from the past, if it appears Feb. 13 to 18, could succeed splendidly. Until then, just enjoy! Casual friends, short trips, communications and paperwork fill Sunday/Monday. All’s good, smooth here. Home, property, security interests meet both good luck and bad Tuesday/Wednesday: be nimble, smart. Tackle chores Saturday – you”ll succeed.

 

SCORPIO   Oct. 23-Nov. 21

The accent lies on home, family, property, security, Mother Nature, retirement, soul and stomach for several weeks ahead – especially this Wednesday night to Friday eve, when a new project or “regime” might begin in these zones. But if you are contemplating a major project here (e.g., renovations, or a new private school for the kids) realize that February contains many delays, mistakes and indecision. If you can take one good step forward here, then can wait until March to continue, go ahead. You might do more talking about this project than actually doing, committing – that’s okay, it shows you’re aware of the looming February slow-down. Earlier, Sunday/Monday offer luck in earnings and purchases. (Sunday a.m.’s great for computer buys.) Run errands, call, visit, handle paperwork Tuesday/Wednesday – but don’t rush, drive carefully, etc. Friday night, Saturday tease you with beauty, pleasure and romance’s sweet promise!

 

SAGITTARIUS   Nov. 22-Dec. 21

The weeks ahead continue to feature short trips, errands, visits, communications, siblings and casual acquaintances, details and paperwork – especially Wednesday night to Friday eve, when a new project could begin in these areas. One caution – a background, government, health, or reputational barrier could defeat any long-term projects you might start. (From February 13 to 18, though, a project – e.g., a mail-out, or distribution scheme – might return from the past, and it CAN succeed.) So, in general, stick to the quick and light. Your energy soars Sunday/Monday – people notice and admire you, you might be able to impress a potential lover, can tackle and finish a formerly intimidating chore. Usually, I’d advise starting something significant, but February will bring mistakes, indecision and delays, so start only what you can finish this week. Money, possessions and casual sex need caution Tuesday/Wednesday. Home, furniture, food, family enter a “sweet spot” of luck Saturday – proceed!

 

CAPRICORN   Dec. 22-Jan. 19

The accent lies on earnings, possessions, sensual/casual sex and memory for the weeks ahead, especially Wednesday night to Friday eve, when a new project could begin in these areas…it’s a mellow, calm time, good for government activities, banking and “talking funding.” But something inside you might interfere with the smooth course of any large or long-term venture here. It’s not self-sabotage; rather, your subconscious might be seeing a different future than you consciously perceive, so it steers you away from “apparent success.” Your subconscious is right. So proceed cautiously rather than fight the current. (February 13-18, a past monetary or purchase venture might return – it’s fine, workable.) Lie low, rest, contemplate and plan Sunday/Monday – all’s well, solitude’s sweet. Your energy and charisma rise Tuesday/Wednesday, but obstacles mix with clear paths, so be astute, nimble. Run errands, call people Saturday – be curious!

 

AQUARIUS   Jan. 20-Feb. 18

You remain in charge. Your energy, magnetism, clout and effectiveness let you cut through obstacles like butter, and urge you to start big, important projects. But hold on – 1) February brings a slow down, mistakes and false starts; 2) higher-ups, parents, authorities, etc., expect you to work within strict guidelines, guidelines that hold you back. So start only ventures which you can finish quickly, before Feb. 6. (Between Feb. 13 and 18, a project of any kind – perhaps a love project – could return from the distant past – if so, it has the hallmarks of success.) Sunday/Monday raise your hopes, popularity and happiness. Someone sees you as desirable. Romance possible! Retreat, lie low, rest and contemplate your life Tuesday/Wednesday. Your energy soars Wednesday night to Friday eve – re-read the first 3 sentences of this message. Saturday is superb for shopping, and for selling things.

 

PISCES   Feb. 19-March 20

If a  love affair or creative project has slowed, it will regain momentum when your charisma rises in March. For the few weeks ahead – especially this Wednesday night to Friday eve – continue to rest, contemplate and plan. Avoid competitive situations. Focus on charitable works, spiritual development, and interfacing with institutions or civil servants. However, in these, realize that until February 13, an ethical, legal or cultural barrier exists which can reduce your  impact. (E.g., government regulations won’t let you obtain that mining permit.) (Feb. 13-18 can bring a breakthrough for an old project.) Sunday/Monday emphasize ambitions, career – fortunately, so march ahead. Your hopes are high Tuesday/Wednesday, but your popularity might disappoint: go slow. Your energy rises Friday night, Saturday – life’s benevolent, you’ll be happy!
