Many readers have emailed to ask when I will have the “Luck Forecasts” for summer 2013 to summer 2014 posted in the “Platforms” section. I’m sorry for the delay. Trouble is, I can’t discern how to put anything there. When I learn, I’ll do it….
The planet Pluto circles the zodiac in about 247 years (it varies by 3 years). When Christ began his teachings, Pluto had just entered the sign Scorpio. When Columbus sailed in 1492, Pluto had just entered the sign Scorpio. When Pluto entered Scorpio in the early 1700’s, the Industrial Revolution arose, and the concept of modern democratic nationhood was born (courtesy of J.J. Rousseau) – and the American and French revolutions followed. When Pluto entered Scorpio in 1983/84, the USSR fell apart, re-arranging the Euro-Asian continent, and AIDS arrived. The Battle of Hastings, the break-up of the Roman Empire, Genghis Khan, these coincided with Pluto entering Scorpio.
These world-changing events occurred when Pluto entered Scorpio. But the plot thickens: a chart drawn for the exact time/date Pluto enters Scorpio, also describes the 250 years to follow. For example, the 1700’s (1732? – memory escapes me) Pluto-into-Scorpio chart is filled with squares – an indication of conflict. Two world wars followed. The 1983 Pluto entry chart shows a massive amount of planets in Scorpio, and on one side of the chart. No squares. So the 250 years to follow will be stable, with perhaps one huge cataclysm if the stability becomes stagnation. Police states, repression, puzzling diseases, huge advances in medicine and research and high tech – these are Scorpio things, and we see them all around us already.

ARIES March 21-April 19
Start nothing new before November 10. The weeks ahead feature secrets, mysteries, sexual desires, subconscious promptings, occultism, large financial situations, lifestyle choices and changes, critical health diagnoses, commitments and consequences. (Especially November 2 and 3.) During the “retro” (to Nov. 10) shy away from choices, commitments and promises. Work is hard and yet invigorating – stick to routine or simple chores until the 10th. Your home will be welcoming, upbeat, a respite from work. Sunday/Monday are romantic, inventive, risk-reward-prone and pleasure-prone (though pre-noon’s a bust: home, chores interfere). Tackle chores Tuesday/Wednesday – you’ll succeed best with a big, neglected task. Relationships confront you with opposition, rebellion Thursday, perhaps a need to change your bond – or even your career. But things flow better Friday – agreement’s elusive, but talk and understanding grow.
TAURUS April 20-May 20
One of your favorite things arises over the weeks ahead: relationships. But if you begin a brand new love or business link before November 10, it will very likely turn in circles of indecision until it expires. If you’re with someone now, stay with. An “ex” could re-appear now or next week – if you regret parting, then meld again. It might be even better this time around. Whatever happens, your sexual and romantic (and communications) skills are at a peak – don’t waste them. Remember, though, others hold the aces, the essential power, so follow their lead. Listen to advice, even seek it. Some of you will wed as a result of this October/November’s events. (November 2 and 3 might show this.) Meanwhile, Sunday/Monday feature home, family, property, security – in these, don’t oppose your partner around noon (PDT). Monday night to Wednesday highlight romance, beauty, pleasure, a gambler’s instinct – charge ahead! Chores, health, Thursday/Friday.
GEMINI May 21-June 20
The weeks ahead emphasize work, health, dependants and service people, repairs and machinery, especially November 2 and 3. Start NOTHING new, especially in these zones, before November 10. Don’t buy new equipment or tools. Instead, tackle those chores you’ve ignored for months. (There are at least two.) You home continues to be friction-prone, but also “optimism-prone” – a good argument could clear the air for light and love. Also, you can “bleed off” this fractious energy with repairs, cleaning, etc. (Don’t use a strong cleanser you haven’t used before.) Relationships remain sweet. If you ask someone to marry you he/she will probably say no, but you’ll gain a lot of good will. Sunday/Monday highlight errands, communications, siblings and casual friends. Your heart turns toward home Tuesday/Wednesday, and despite what I’ve said about friction, all looks smooth, happy! Romantic notions fill Thursday (difficult) and Friday (okay). A core “disconnection” exists between friendship and sex – choose wisely.
CANCER June 21-July 22
An old flame might reappear. (You could hear something about this late Monday through Wednesday.) The weeks ahead emphasize romance, creativity, risk-taking, beauty, self-expression, pleasure, and developing children’s talents. But in all these, only the old or ongoing can succeed – don’t start major new projects nor relationships. (Don’t begin rewriting or revising a former painting – pitfalls exist.) Your career, now to early December, fills with emails, talks, travel, much hustle-bustle, but little solid progress. Then, December to July 2014, you will need to construct a new or more solid foundation under the tower of your ambitions. Study this matter now to December, so you’ll be prepared. This week features a disagreement over your ambitions/career (probably with a partner or loved one) – actually, there is verbal agreement, but a late-week sudden event or glitch shows the looming need for this “new foundation” in business, career, etc. Fall in love Saturday!
LEO July 23-Aug. 22
Remember, start nothing new before November 10. The weeks ahead emphasize home, property, family, security, gardening/agri, food/nutrition, soul, and hibernation. (Take frequent naps – “power naps.”) A former rental, home purchase or furniture suite you coveted before might become available once again. (But don’t pursue any brand new rental or purchase.) A long-absent child might return. Much money flows swiftly to you, until December – bank it, watch credit/debts. Be “foundational” rather than ambitious. Your energy and charisma remain high Sunday/Monday: use it, Sunday, to solve problems, to cross “to do’s” off your list. Handle money, shop (routine things, groceries) and sell items Tuesday/Wednesday. Thursday or Friday’s communication(s) or travel(s) might alert you to a problem, a conflict, between your work, duties, health on one side, and your ideas, intellectual yearnings, or love on the other side – or a simple computer crash or driving accident. Start nothing new before November 10, Virgo. Meanwhile, guard against mistakes in emails, calls, travel, paperwork and scheduling details. Before going on errands, make a list. Your sexual magnetism, determination and all-round “courage” remain high to early December. But the weeks ahead promote fairly superficial relationships. This might result in a casual affair, one that could leave you indecisive about continuing it. If this is an old bond, former love, or former unfulfilled desire, go ahead. The same applies to investments and financial manoeuvres: if they are the rebirth of a past event or notion, go ahead. But commit to no brand new investments. A problem brews all week in these zones (sex and finances). If you just choose, pick romance over sex. Lie low, rest Sunday/Monday. Your energy and charisma surge Tuesday/Wednesday. All week, a problem that’s several years long reaches one of its climaxes – it pits your money, possessions or earnings against your friendships, future goals or a light, flirtatious romance.
