Yes, this might be the last column I’ll write for this web site. Might: I can’t
decide yet. If so, the site will shut down. The problem isn’t popularity – in
fact, according to web-monitoring firm ALEXA, Astral Reflections is more popular
than the U.S. site that publishes about 100 different horoscope columns in one
place. The problem is the site doesn’t make any money. It was initially just an
offshoot of my newspaper column, Astral Reflections. When the group of
newspapers that have carried the astral column was bought recently, the new
owners decided to discontinue my column.
To continue this web site, I need to supply a new set of sun-sign forecasts
every week – but without being paid. Were I 30 years old, even 40 or 50, I would
take the site and try to make it work – say by subscription. For $ 1 a column or
$ 52 a year, a subscriber could access the astral site and read their weekly
forecast, as well as the “platform” articles. I might try this.
But I’m in my 60’s. When you get older, you lose elasticity, not only
physically, but emotionally, in the heart. Since my column was yanked from the
newspapers, I’ve felt like I’ve been released from prison. And I have other
writing to do, which I’ve put off for 30 years.
So I probably will not continue. Being a Gemini, though, I’m just not sure.
I’m going to ask you a favour: check back here on May 15. If I’m going to
continue, you’ll see the May 19 column.

peaceful, lovely run. I couldn’t have asked for better.

renovations, having discovered a patch of black mold, I idly brushed some wood
petrifier on it. The mold disappeared instantly. Totally. Nothing but a shiny
